There are several other shows which should be on the list that I need to watch.

Six Feet Under and Lost. The only other thing that even approached them was season 1 of Heroes, but other than that they're way out on their own.

I can't include Farscape or Now and Again since they premiered in '99. Otherwise they would be in there as well.

THE WIRE is my pick for best dramatic series. I'm also extremely fond of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, but it has a few flaws that THE WIRE was able to overcome.

For comedic series, it's a tie between CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (I've seen all seven seasons) and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (I've seen the first season and most of the second).

Well they existed in later years, so it can pass. If it started in the 90s and still ran through the past ten years then it still counts. That's why I worded it that way.
