IMDB seems to suggest she has worked solidly for 30 years - that seems 'up in lights' to me when compared to many of the long-term cast of trek...
Who knows - I just find it a little odd that someone who did a few days work on a show 25 years ago is suppose to bow down given its an insignificant part of their career.
Role is a role and TNG was a big name, why shouldn't she be a little bit grateful...
Fans don't want grateful - they want subservient, especially from actresses.
I looked up her past thirteen years, the only thing I've heard of is Divergence (which I didn't even realize she was even in).
The others have been busy doing non-acting projects or recurring acting role. They aren't in a struggling state like your post kinda suggested.
