Watch it, you! Or, I'll be really mean next time you're in TNZ.
I like TNZ for being no holds barred, I just dislike discussing politics. So I tend to stay out. I'd rather argue about which Seven of Nine catsuit was hotter, the silver or tan one?
Well, our number is on the Lighthouse folks.
One more hour-long episode, then the two and a half hour finale.
Then what?
Does the Lost forum just disappear from the board?
Does it get moved to SF&F?
Do I quack like a duck?
Will the ending leave so much for discussion that the Lost Forum gets a reprieve from the T'Guv to exist despite the show is over? Works for the five Trek series!
I dunno.
I just feel privileged to have been part of something special, and have enjoyed the avatar contests, and all the theories and speculation all these years.

Yah, it's been a good ride.
It's funny, I'm not even that much of a Trek fan. I stumbled upon this site 9 years ago while looking up a bit of Star Trek info for a school project for my girlfriend at the time. I glanced in the Sci-Fi boards while I was here and got caught up in a discussion of the tv show Angel and I never left.
That was a few cities, jobs (and girlfriends) ago, but I still kept coming here to discuss favorite shows. It's weird. I don't go any other forums to discuss stuff and never have. Not for Angel or Firefly or 24 (back when I was watching it) or Lost. Just here. A website more devoted to a franchise I've never really enjoyed (I did like the last couple of season of DS 9 though), then the shows I was interested in.
I guess I stuck around because of all the rest of you guys and the interesting (and occasionally annoying) thoughts, theories and insights into the shows I watched.
So thanks everyone!

Thinking this through even further, I think that the forum should at least remain open until everyone in the world has had time to digest the final episode (seeing as some countries are weeks behind the US and Canada.... and show LOST at a later time too 
).
But then again, we should also probably keep it open until the DVDs and Blu-Rays come out for the final season and complete series, for nostalgia's sake and also just in case there's one last little thing that Damon and Carlton (and that Polar Bear) have slipped in.
Who knows, they might give us even more ANSWERS!

I'm gonna avoid the internet on Monday week. Yet to know when the final double episode will air here. I've enjoyed your posts over the last couple years. Hope another show comes along we can both talk about.
At the very least we have to keep this place going long enough for the full DVD set release AND all-seasons rewatch project.

The only thing this forum was missing was one poster who hated everything about the show, only posted about how much he hated the show, and watched every single episode for six years to tell us how right he was about it. Without that, this forum doesn't really fit in with the rest of TrekBBS.
The Letter threads (I only started the second one... no idea who started the first one but it was awesome).
But the thing I remember most about this forum, is one particular avatar contest, based on the episode where they first found the Dharma Van. The winner was a totally awesome Av that had Hurley, Vincent, Jin, Sawyer and Roger Workmans skull. It was simply wonderful and totally captured the spirit of that episode. Does anyone have it somewhere?
