I registered just to save my username. I don't think I'll be over there too much. It'll be interesting to see how well it's moderated, or if it'll just be a free for all.

I used the same name and avatar... but I don't expect to be there much either... unless I hear that the cast or crew have started hanging around, posting there.

^Agreed.
This is the only place I trust to have a serious and indeed non-serious discussion. Other Star Trek sites can be like the wild fucking west sometimes. Trekmovie is great for info, but the "Why isn't shatner in the movie...waaaaahhhh!" crowd can be a little too vocal for my tastes.
And i'd rather poke myself in the eye with a really sharp stick than partake in a talkback on AICN.

It'd be interesting to see what happens to that site after the movie is released. But December is a long ways off, so it can serve its purpose for the new movie long enough I guess...

Well they have at least 2 admins there, but so didn't startrek.com's forum and look at how wild that place was/is. Since it's on Paramount.com they have to very carefull if they need anyone to help them moderate it.
Anywho, i registered at #32 and got to use my name Tom, this forum is one the few left i still use fleetlord on.
Also the Admins did the smart thing and pre-registered all the cast and crew so fans could not use there names, so if JJ Abrams posts you now its him and not an imposter.
