Released tomorrow! I normally hate Star Wars games, but I'm pretty excited for this one.

Who is planning on picking it up, and for what system?

I was thinking about either the DS or Wii versions, but the novelization destroyed any enthusiasm I had for the game.

Maybe once it's in the $20 bargain bin I'll take another look.

I'm not really much of a gamer these days but I enjoyed the demo and might pick this up for my PS3. I should occasionally play games on it, right?

The reviews are pretty much all meh... the impression I get is that it's the same thing as the demo, just repeated for 8 hours. I'll pick it up sometime, probably, but I'm not in a hurry.

Well from the demo anyway it felt like the light saber play has taken a major back seat, i remember the last game(Outcast)had some skill involved in learning the light saber move and defences as well and the force power.

I will wait until i see more hand on opinions before i wait to buy it as a on sale purchase...

I have it on pre-order for my PS3, so it should arrive either on or before the 19th (the UK release date). I played the demo and found it enjoyable, so I'm looking forward to playing the full game.

On 1up Yours, one of the guys was saying that the game has an awesome bridging conceit to tie together the PT and OT... hrm.

Seems like I remember seeing someone saying it was like "God of War" only set in the SW universe. I honestly don't know but count me as one of those people who doesn't "get" GOW, so I figure I'll pass on this title.

I'm patiently awaiting SOCOM and Saints Row2 as my next major game purchases.

I've been reading the reviews and all the negatives they've mentioned don't bother me. I've played the demo a ton of times just having fun with the powers, so I would imagine I would replay the levels as well with some of the final level powers.

It really seems that the reviews are under-rating the game based what was written as the chief complaints are those of any action game. The rating should line up more in the lower 8s. However, GTA IV was not a 10, so I take critics with a grain of salt. I liked the demo and none of the reviews have said anything about the game being broken, so I will still be getting it.

Can you do that?! You can replay the game again with your higher level character? That would be nice ...

Still a tad annoyed that there's no multiplayer. It didn't have to go to great depths - a simple deathmatch wouldn't have been totally unwelcome.

Critics tend to overrate big name games. Halo 3, CoD4, MGS4 and GTA4 pretty much got a free pass.
Although, it's not so much the score, but the rhetoric. GTA4 is not Godfather and MGS4 is not the best game ever made.

I didn't say that, I just disagreed with their score, not their opinion. I don't think the scores matched up with their written word.
