Oh yay.Get used to hearing Wilma and Barney say that a lot because Seth MacFarlane and his team of manatees have been hired to reboot the Flintstones:
- The Flintstones will be produced jointly by 20th Century Fox Television and Warner Bros Television. Dan Palladino (Gilmore Girls) and Kara Vallow (Family Guy) will serve as executive producers with Seth MacFarlane who says the very first cartoon character he drew at age 2 was Fred Flintstone. “So it’s appropriate that events have come full circle, allowing me to produce the newest incarnation of this great franchise. Plus, I think America is finally ready for an animated sitcom about a fat stupid guy with a wife who’s too good for him.”
I'm sure that this will be nothing like his other shows: Family Guy, Secret Agent Family Guy and Black Family Guy.
Anybody else notice the music at the very end???I feel this as good of a time as any to post this:
The Flintstones did occasionally make references to popular culture.. . . What makes cartoons like these timeless are the lack of social commentary or anything referencing popular culture, which is something that Seth McFarlane is very prone to do.

Anyway, can this really be any worse than the two live-action movies?
