Spoilers The Flash - Season 5

When is Snart coming back? We’re five season in and they haven’t properly done the Rogues yet.

The thing I always wondered about the night Barry's mother was killed. Where did the adult Barry go after removing younger Barry from the house? We later saw Thawne zoom out of the house after killing Nora in a flashback episode late in the first season, with no sign that he did something to the adult Flash.

I think he was a time remnant from another universe from the last time the loop or whatever played out. It was a Flash that had experienced (a) Flashpoint earlier, and solved it by stopping his past self from ever causing it to begin with. Barry then screwed up, and caused it anyways.

Ten minutes left in the episode...

Was anybody else annoyed at Cisco for not sending the dagger to space in another universe? Or is he too disabled to vibe to other universes?

Also, are they hinting that Sherloq Wells is also Thawne? Both Sherloq and Thawne called Nora a clever girl in the same episode.

Could Nora's time research be unintentionally responsible for teaching some version of Thawne how to kill Barry's mother without destroying time? Now that would be the ultimate timey-wimey predestination paradox...

I am not sure what we are supposed to think about the piece of Savitar’s suit that disappeared and reappeared a little different in Nora’s hand.

Perhaps she has some sort of artificial bubble protecting her (and the objects she touches) from timeline erasure... That would be a useful tool when messing with your pre-birth history.

Why didn't Thawne recognize Nora? He knows everything about Barry. And when he finds out she is his daughter, he calls her Dawn (Barry's daughter's name in the comics), not Nora.

It could be that Nora hasn't been quite truthful about her identity, along with other things. Gideon in the past called her Nora, though, so that argues against it.

Good episode. The “Dawn” namedrop and the “at least you still have one” indicates that the RF is from the unaltered timeline. Everything Barry and Thawne has done since then have altered things dramatically.

I don’t know why Thawne was wearing the “Wells suit” at the end. Was the original actor not available?

We have known that Thawne is from the unaltered timeline since... well the Pilot. Or at least when we specifically learned Reverse Flash killed Barry’s mother. He came from the timeline in which Nora Allen lived and Henry Allen never went to prison. It’s easy to forget but this whole series is an altered timeline. Which is why Thawne can change the past but Barry is selfish for trying to undo it and creates Flashpoint... never works for me. The writers choose to make Barry look bad for doing what the Legends do every episode.

That article explains this is the Thawne we last saw in the Earth X crossover who resumed using Wells face. Simply by choice.

This might be my favorite episode of the Flash ever. What a great way to celebrate the first DC CW show I became a fan of. Also, Cananagh as Thawn/Harry reminds me so much about why I don't like Sherloque. It's just not the same and the accent is annoying.

Could Sherloque be Thawne in disguise? That “clever girl” line seems rather sinister.

Well, it sucks we have to wait till Mid January to see what happens next. With next week being the crossover, I wish we got another episode in this storyline now. That ending was crazy.

Maybe the timeline has been changed at some point between season 1 and 5. Originally Dawn was Barry and Iris' daughter, now Nora is. That's why Nora wrote that the timeline is malleable, she knows that it has been changed dramatically now.

I'm glad they went with him, Wells-Thawne is far more sinister than his original body. Even without saying a single line of dialogue he comes off as an absolute monster.

As for the "at least you still have one". He could be him referring to Don, but also rubbing it in that he's already taken one Nora away from him.
