Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

Different States different laws.

California is capped at $100 per day.

Then there's this from 2014.

The federal wrongful conviction compensation statute is the only statute that offers higher compensation for those who spent time on death row. Under the federal statute, a person can be awarded up to $50,000 per year of wrongful imprisonment and up to $100,000 per year on death row.

Was Henry a lifer? No death penalty in central City I guess? And life isn't life anymore. It's a decade or two and then parole? Regardless, Henry was going to be out soon? Although vehemently innocent men cannot be paroled. You have to admit what you did, even if you didn't do it, and beg for contrition or the parole board will tell you to eff off.

Of course as a Doctor if he put his mind to it, Henry could probably earn twice what the city would pay out in a year by working as a doctor, which means that he doesn't need the money, but he may want to (relatively) punish the people who were stupid enough to convict him of a crime he did not commit.

The district/city is not going to fire and backball a judge and or any number assistant district attorney's to get out of handing over a measly $1 million dollar pay out.

i hope so. i was fine with them making it vague at first so supergirl can be establlished...but we will be VERY excited when it happens

I really hope it does happen. Now that several episodes have aired it's very clear that Supergirl would be a great match for The Flash.

We're gearing up for Legends of Tomorrow!

That was an innovative way to do Hawkman and Hawkgirl's wings. I've never seen that before. Usually the characters either have to walk around with natural wings or they have strap-ons. Now we can have it both ways, natural wings yet they can walk around without them.

That crossover episode was SO MUCH FUN! There's just something inherently thrilling about seeing a bunch of superheroes in costume in the same room. This was a true crossover merging both casts, not just one person popping over. So much fun!

It was a little lame how they had to gimp the Flash in the fights to give Savage a chance, but the same could be said for about every villain in every episode.

That episode was really really cool. I don't watch Arrow but it was so nice to see Oliver and Falicity gain and meet the rest of the crew, and I didn't know Captain Jack Harkness was in this universe. I wasn't sure if I was going to see Arrow tomorrow but I really have to. Loved seeing Kendra get her wings.

This was a pretty good episode. Team Felicity was the weaker link, but they were tolerable. The Hawkman/Flash/GA fight was pretty cool, and Savage was an interesting villain. Hawkman was pretty good, although I think Michael Shanks will always be my favorite live action Hawkman. He really got the angry part of Hawkman down, and he was a bit more interesting (I also liked his costume a bit better). OVerall, this was good. I hope the Arrow half of the crossover is as good, and doesn't have a bunch of unrelated Arrow subplot stuff in it.

Would be very cool.. i think Supergirl and Flash (or their respective characters/actors) could have great chemistry together and Sisco will probably blow a gasket when he sees Supergirl in her red thigh highs and skirt

It's understandable that they don't want to cram it in season 2 of Flash as that season has probably been already planned out and there is most likely no room to include such a big crossover.

I can see that happening in season 3 and i would fully support it so the DC TV universe becomes more coherent (still sad that Grant Gustin doesn't get to play the Flash in the JLA movies, he'd be brilliant in it). Marvel may rule over DC when it comes to movies but let DC get the TV audience at least ;)
I think it will happen for sure if Supergirl loses viewers and enters cancellation regions and needs to be propped up.

While I enjoyed the episode overall I found something a little off about Savage. While his portrayal in the comics has been all over the place in his history, there was always an underlying ferocity to the character that I think was missing here. This Savage was way to calm and suave in his demeanor. Was also not happy with tying his and the Hawks life forces together. Really no need for that at all.
The Barry/Oliver stuff was good as usual.
Having Malcolm appear from the shadows twice was rather needless.

As I dimly recall, isn't it the Shadow Thief who has the over the eons animosity with the Hawks, and not Savage?
