Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

I didn't even think of Henry being Zoom, but that would be great on so many levels. First the whole meta (no pun intended) idea of John Wesley Shipp playing a speedster, to the in universe idea of Barry having to face off with an evil doppelganger of his father.

I doubt they'd use a name actor in full coverage suit when a stand in would be so much cheaper (reality of TV and movie production), at best they'd take care he has roughly the same eye color as the real actor they'd reveal later when Zoom unmasks himself.

John is still trying to wash the stink of that Creek off himself.

This dreamjob playing to his nostalgia has got to be for the love of it, and the money a not so distant but necessary second.

But it would explain why Henry split if they need John for his Zoom Scenes.

Now my question of the moment is did Henry-2/Zoom kill Henry-1? As seems to be the MO of folks making the crossing.

Question two. Is there a Jay-1?

Linda said something like "I can only be free of Zoom if I kill my double"

Doubles are used to track breachers, probably something to do with harmonic distortion, like putting two radios too close to each other, so it's nothing like the rule of one from Stargate SG1.

I've no idea what "so it's nothing like the rule of one from Stargate SG1" means. I take it SG1 did some doppelganger episodes?

Killing your double means you have a life on the alternate Earth. Seems like a good way to hide.

I had to wonder about that...covertly killing your double and taking their place makes sense. Going into her workplace and killing her in front of lots of witnesses wouldn't seem conducive to that end.

There was no advantage in Al "Atom Smasher" Pratt killing his Earth One counterpart since he was still following Zoom's orders, and left the corpse in plain sight to be found, so that the authorities would be alerted and close down his identity.

In season one SG1 when Carter crossed over through the mirror, the special effects used made her look like Barry Allen funking out to air guitar at super speed. Her companion Kawsolski(sp?) was fine becuse that worlds version of him died in the pilot.

10 years later, when there where 30 cross dimension editions of SG1 aboard an Earthican Starship, no bugger seemed to be tweaking even though there were 30 Sam Carters rubbing shoulders. Although since they were in N-Space, out side of the universe that might explain why the other dimennsional space the ship was in didn't give a shit about how many Carters there were.

It couldn't be like the Stargate rule, anyway. Kawolski was only temporarily fine - not having a double allowed him to stick around longer before he was in danger, but according to the episode, everyone who wasn't in their native universe would eventually start to suffer from the same problem.

In an earlier post I said "It's not like in Stargate"

Then I was grilled "Whatchu talking about Willis?"

So I explained the nature of the Stargatian Universe.

And you said "But it's not like that in the Arrowverse".

Um, so when Hawkman shows up, is Kendra going to dump Cisco, or is she one of those people that needs at least two guys to keep her social calendar happy?

Thank you for posting this. I was actually just playing around on Google Earth the other day trying to see if I could find any places in Vancouver I recoginized from all of the shows filmed there.
I've been seeing the round Central Library building in Vancouver based shows for years and I've always wondered what it was, now I finally know.

5 years later, and it's still weird to see that Lois Lane and Hawkman have a baby together on Saving Hope.
