Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

from TVLine

Question: Flash scoop, please! —Tatiana

Ausiello: Arrow addicts may recall Cisco and Caitlin making mention of ex-S.T.A.R. Labs employee Doctor Light when they first appeared in Season 2’s “The Man Under the Hood.” Turns out, that was some stealthy foreshadowing. Stanton tells us that the metahuman will turn up this season on The Flash — but “it’s going to be the female version” of the character.

That's cool. I like the character in the comics, so seeing her in Flash would be cool. I hope she ends up getting powers eventually, and isn't just a small one off cameo.

Well it certainly sidesteps the rape problem with using Arthur.

UM.

In the Flash of two worlds poster, is that Felicity being saved?

Is anyone really good at recognizing women from the back of their heads?

Convergence recanonized Identity Crisis.

Jean Loring still did microscopic star jumps on Sue's brain till she stroked out.

Hmmm?

I wonder who they'll get to play Jean?

Oh?

Been there, done that?

So, Ray is into older Women?
Convergence recanonized everything. That was the point. But I don't think the brain dance happened on Earth-0.

Ray's Jean could be the daughter of the Jean seen in Arrow.

Ray/Brandon is almost 40, and you can still smell Felicity's 20th birthday birthday candles. If he's willing to roam back and ply a young woman in her early 20s with kisses, why not see what a woman in her 50s has to offer?

We've got our first, very short teaser for Season 2. It give us our first glimpse of Atom Smasher and........ the Flash signal?

Demore Barnes Cast As Tokamak

The network describes Barnes' new role as "a charming, but cocky scientist who was affected by the same Particle Accelerator explosion that created the Flash. When Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) recruits him to join the team at S.T.A.R. Labs, Hewitt jumps at the opportunity to fulfill his destiny as a powerful meta-human."

Tokamak has only appeared in a handful of comics since his debut in 1983's "Firestorm" #15, but those appearances span decades.

Violett Beane cast as Jesse Quick

Jesse Quick, I love it. Hope she needs to say the formula to kick in her powers at least at the start. Or at the very least its written on a blackboard at somewhere in the back of an office. This show just keeps rolling out the names.

They are definitely not holding back with the speedsters this season. So far we have Zoom, Jay Garrick, Wally West, and now Jessie Quick.

Even though I'm not familiar with all the Flash mythology out there (besides the basics I've gleaned from shows like JLU), it does sound like it could be a really fun season with all the new characters and speedsters and alternate universe weirdness they're throwing into it.

Given that there are fans of the show who have rarely (if ever) read a Flash comic (like me) i hope they don't overdo it or worse assume comic knowledge to be able to follow a show storyline (low risk but still).

Definitely one of the shows i really look forward seeing again, for me it was the best new show last season with its good mix of drama, action, humor and little 20s relationship drama.

And it's just about 6 weeks away.

I hope they do Jesse Quick well. She's one of my favorite DC speedsters, and I was hoping we'd get her on TV. The formula is really a requirement for me, though. If she doesn't use the formula, she's just not Jesse Quick. Still, I'm sure that The Flash will use the character well. It seems like the premiere of Season 2 is still a long way off.

Yeah even if I didn't really buy her and Barry as a couple, I did like Jow's portrayal of the character and look forward to seeing her on the show again.

Keiynan Lonsdale is 23, but I anticipate that he's playing much younger.

Malese Jow is 24 (they were both born in 1991.) but considering her job, I think she's playing a smidge older.
