I am also very curious about that image of Barry in prison in the future. Its interesting on all the sites I follow I have seen no mention of that. Probably because there was so much info to digest in this single episode!
I have a problem with the fact that Barry's gang approved of him going back in time and change history. It could have had unforeseeable, potentially catastrophic consequences on any of them. The fact that nobody but Barry and Stein (not even Cisco, a supposed scientific genius) had a serious problem with this made the whole thing kinda unbelievable.
It was otherwise a pretty good final, to a pretty damn great season.

It's the clash of plot and character - at some stage, Barry had to go back, where this falls down (as you say) is where everyone stands around saying "well you might die and kill everyone but go for it dude".
I did. It's basically the same suit he wears in the present, only repainted (color corrected probably) and with a different emblem.Did anyone notice whether the future Flash was in the updated costume from the newspaper?

Right. Unfortunately, if they'd done the sensible thing and decided "It's just too dangerous, let's stop," then there would've been no story.
Still, it could've been done better. They should've contrived some situation where Wells/Thawne set things up so that Barry had to go back, despite the risks, in order to save his friends or the city. Although with the whole world at stake, it's hard to imagine what would be a great enough incentive to justify taking that risk. Maybe, instead, a scenario where Barry is tricked into going back.
Still, there were some excellent dramatic scenes here, especially between Shipp and Gustin in the prison. That was a really moving performance from both of them.
It's cool that so many characters were featured and so much happened, but there were some real surprises. I wasn't expecting as much of a cliffhanger. So much is still unresolved. The big thing is that Henry's still in prison. That's been Barry's goal throughout the season, to exonerate him, so I'm surprised they let that dangle.
Also, as soon as Ronnie told Caitlin he was staying and wanted to marry her, I was thinking, "Ohh, that's why he isn't in Legends! He's totally gonna die!" And then he didn't. I wonder if maybe they were making us expect Ronnie was going to die so that we wouldn't see Eddie's death coming.
And man, I hope it's Sunday so those skyscrapers were empty. But I so hate it when FX artists have skyscrapers toppling over diagonally and maintaining their shape. Anyone who's ever seen a building demolition or footage from 9/11 should know better. Skyscrapers' support members aren't designed to handle sideways forces, just straight up-and-down forces. Tilt them more than a couple of degrees and they give way, and the building collapses nearly straight downward, the floors pancaking onto one another.

Flash's costume never quite grew on me. Looked ok in some early promo pics, but in action it looks shitty and cheap. Like, cosplay-level cheap. Professor Zoom's yellow suit looks much better, though.
His friends continuing to support his plan was just insane and made them look like the worst kind of enablers.
Speaking of his friends, what was with the dumbing down of Caitlin? How does she not know what a singularity is?
Victor Garber reminded me why Jack Bristow was one of my all-time favorite TV characters. He was gold tonight and he's going to be a great addition to Legends of Tomorrow.
De gustibus non est disputandum, my friend.I couldn't disagree more. The Flash costume looks terrific and functional, while Zoom's suit looks cumbersome and rather ugly.
Boy, you really are easily offended, aren't you?Using cosplay as an insult is just ignorant.
It was also seen in the "Legends of Tomorrow" preview. As for some of the weird things we saw, Jay Garrick's helmet was really cool. I hope we see something come of it eventually.

Seems to me that Eddie's body getting sucked into a black hole leaves the door open for all sorts of hand-waving down the road.
This has to be like third of fourth time you've attacked me this year. Chill out, I mean no harm. Jesus.
Good lord, Barry is a selfish and self-absorbed narcissist and his friends are Kool-Aid drinking enablers. He learns that if he fails, the entire planet might be destroyed but he still decides to go back in time because he misses mommy..
I wasn't attacking cosplayers, I was... Ahem, casually generalizing. I've seen some amazingly crafted costumes at conventions myself (there's this brilliant chick from Zagreb who does mindblowing stuff, Amidala, steampunk, you name it), but generally... When someone says "cosplay" the first thought that comes to my mind is that Hello Kitty Darth Vader. This has to be like third of fourth time you've attacked me this year. Chill out, I mean no harm. I wasn't attacking you. I was defending cosplayers.
