The Flash - Season 1

Besides, everyone knows that H.G. Wells is a woman! :)
Had to look that up to get the reference. I'll leave my geek card at the door.

You're not alone. When I wrote my Warehouse 13 novel, an assiduous copyeditor pointed out that Pete and Myka could not possibly have met H.G. Wells since Wells died in 1946.

Clearly, said copyeditor had never seen the TV show!
And when you split an infinitive, goddamit, you split it so it will stay split!!

Look how responsible the CW is.

They knew that there would be almost 2 million people who wouldn't vote if they could stay home and watch the Flash.

That is so kind and patriotic.

God bless America.

I suspect it is more a case those two million people not watching and the ratings drop like stone for that week. Yes, there would be an asterisk and footnote explanation, but averages for the month and the season would suffer.

I was looking for it On Demand...WGN in Chicago pre-empted Arrow for something,so i was able to watch it the next day OnDemand

Oh well....it should be good next week. My most anticipated after The Walking Dead

Of course nobody's going to schedule new episodes opposite election coverage, even in a midterm year. Normally on Tuesdays this season, I watch The Flash on The CW, Agents of SHIELD on ABC, and Person of Interest on CBS, and not one had a new episode last night, and I doubt anything on NBC or FOX did either (although ABC had that Marvel 75 Years special in place of AoS).

You know if your DVDR didn't record Flash for you on purpose, it's most likely that that is Skynet's opening move to destroy humanity.

And, at least in my neck of the woods, even the Marvel special was being interrupted periodically for election updates. Thank goodness it wasn't an actual SHIELD ep . . . .

We just had a crawl along the bottom of the screen, and a quick update just before the show. Maybe there was nothing dramatic enough in the Ohio and Kentucky races to warrant a play-by-play. TV news only cares about the horse race, after all.

[geekgasm]Cameron Scott! Cameron Scott![/geekgasm]

They can't just be teasing us with a name-drop, can they?

Grodd! Another solid outing for the Flash team. Eiling was good and looks to be a solid long term problem. Poor Barry cant get drunk.

He wanted to "hurt" the animal differently.

The General wanted a soldier.

Wells wanted a general.

Both required similar surgical and gene modification.

Hmmm? Is Gorilla City ever mentioned in Legion of Super Heroes?

(Google says that it has happened.)

Mind-reading, right?

Grodd knew Wells' intentions. Whether he's understood them correctly...?

[Geekgasm] Clancy Brown, a.k.a. Lex Luthor[Geekgasm]

Joe West is a cool guy. He has known for some time that Barry is in love with his daughter, and yet he's OK with it. Not all dads are like that.

Grodd escaped from a circus in the pilot.

Why would Wells sell a telepathic Gorilla to a circus?

It did position Grodd close to the event, but that seems rather slipshot when Wells could have left the gorrilla comfortably someplace else in residence at Starlabs which was even closer to he colider than the Circus (unless Wells owned the Circus?).

This is what I think happened, which probably didn't happen.

Wells released Grodd into the Wild (in Africa) to #### his way to victory with every female he could find pushing the species 60 thousand years up the evolutionary ladder so that all Grodd's children will group together, discover language and science, and then build Gorilla City.

Unfortunately before Grodd would desecrate the thousands of graybacks necessary to fully complete his pornographic sex crusade, a poacher caught him, took the lad back to America and sold the horny monkey to a Circus.

So is it safe to assume Bette isn't really dead, and The Wall had a band of her minions dredging the harbor before the credits were rolling?
