Unless Wells was double Bluffing Sisko and it was Wells who is selling Star labs tech to the underworld?
It is his goal to invent more super humans, or in his case an approximation of super humans.
The collider was fine, advanced tech is a good next step, but he's going to have to keep manifesting new origins, because after a year almost he is really not getting the results he wanted form he collider.
The freaks are staying in the woodwork.
I wonder if Wells is going to be behind Ray Palmer's origin?
Oh, Brandon was in The Exes walking around shirtless last night.
Does this mean we'll see a Flash/Constantine crossover (Constantine went to the campus of Ivy University in the first episode, and IIRC, that's where Ray Palmer was a prof.)?
They don't have to have an Earth 2 in this version...but a damned interesting possibility....

Doubtful. I'm sure the different DC screen continuities will draw on the same well of ideas and names from the comics, but do their own separate things with them. For instance, the future newspaper in the Flash premiere episode mentioned Queen Consolidated and Wayne Enterprises merging, but that doesn't put it in the same continuity as Gotham (probably).
The guy who spotted Snart at the museum was Dexter Myles, who in the comics is the curator of the Flash Museum.
I don't think they mentioned his name, but his name tag was displayed quite prominently. The guy who spotted Snart at the museum was Dexter Myles, who in the comics is the curator of the Flash Museum.
Nice catch!
I was too caught up noticing the actor (Byers!) playing him to take note of the character's name. Always great when a former Lone Gunmen finds work.

I don't think so. Not unless things had already gotten truly horrific.
I don't think we have actually received clear indication that he is from the future, yet. All we know is that he can walk and he has a newspaper from the future. If he is HG Wells then he is actually from the past anyway.
Nobody's suggesting he's actually H.G. Wells -- just that he picked an alias inspired by Wells's name, as one might expect a time traveler to do (if he were prone to being obvious).
Missed that--I thought people were suggesting he was Wells. But my point remains valid--the whole idea of him being a time traveler himself may just be a red herring.
I've been wondering that ever since the show was first announced. Felicity's been shown to track down guys like Snart in her sleep; Barry should be able to deliver him to prison in cuffs while he takes an afternoon nap.So are we just going to have to accept then move on that every single time the Flash confronts anybody, he has to blast in there in the blink of an eye, stop to talk to them, let them get the advantage because he stopped to talk to them, then save the day after remembering he's the flash and faster than everybody?

Had to look that up to get the reference. I'll leave my geek card at the door.I don't think we have actually received clear indication that he is from the future, yet. All we know is that he can walk and he has a newspaper from the future. If he is HG Wells then he is actually from the past anyway.

Besides, everyone knows that H.G. Wells is a woman!![]()

You're not alone. When I wrote my Warehouse 13 novel, an assiduous copyeditor pointed out that Pete and Myka could not possibly have met H.G. Wells since Wells died in 1946.
Clearly, said copyeditor had never seen the TV show!
