The Flash - Season 1

Eddie should just tell Iris that he's working with the Flash and as a result knows his secret identity. But of course that's not his secret to reveal.

Forced relationship drama averted.

When did Iris become overly suspicious about Eddie knowing something she didn't? Simply because they had caught so many crooks in such little time? It was making me feel like I missed something.

^Well, it's natural enough to assume that such extraordinary police efficiency has something to do with the participation of The Fastest Man Alive. So Iris just asked if Eddie was working with the Flash, and it was his evasiveness in response that made her suspicious.

That works. Just checking to see if I'd nodded off.

She thought that Eddie was having an affair.

Eddie is a bad liar. She just doesn't know what he's lying badly about.

Or...

Maybe everyone is dreaming about the other timeline, or can feel the emotions that they were feeling when time died, the feeling in a loop going through Iris' brain being transmitted as a deathrattle from the other universe is "You lying bastard!" which is how she felt when Barry revealed who he was.

By the way, I noticed that this episode has now confirmed that Central City is coastal, since Cisco told Ray to dive into "the ocean" to short out the robo-bees. Which kind of defeats the purpose of calling it Central City.

Clearly it's a post-global warming world. What was once central is now ocean front

Must the name be derived from it's continental location?

Can't it be the central of something else?

Sure, but in the comics it's assumed to be a Midwestern city.

Wasn't the tsunami kind of a clue?

I guess I didn't realize it until I actually heard the word "ocean" spoken. (I mean, it was an artificially created tsunami, so maybe it could've been on a big lake or something....)

It doesn't have to be central to the continental US to be central to some other region.

There'll be some disagreement on what constitutes it based on who you ask, but all of that middle part is generally called Central California and the part bordering the ocean is called the Central Coast.

Seeing bankruptcy around the corner, in the DCU, Madera changed it's name to Goodman Central Air City in exchange for a multi million dollar bail out. As the city become more solvent, so did their adherence to being reminded that they sold thier soul, and identity to a shitty Air Conditioner Company.

I am still curious if they are going to address where Iron Heights is? Or if there are two cities with the same name? It was clear that Roy was in a prison right near Starling city this week on Arrow.

Pennsylvania and Louisiana have Central Cities. Now, are Central and Starling on the west coast? Is Opal City still in Maryland?

The train trip between Starling and Central is only a couple hours long.

If Iron Heights is right in the middle between the two, that's one hour to either city.

Central City has always moved around in the comics (originally it was in Ohio, but has also been in Florida, Missouri, Kansas, and a couple of other places.)

That said, episode 9 explicitly stated that the show's Central City is in Missouri. Which doesn't have a coastline.
