^ Cool, congrats. :) Isn't it a nice feeling? :D

You really should get the S3 bonus disc somewhere cos it's definately the best one, hehe. :)

Oh yeah, it's a great feeling. :D I'm popping in Emissary right now.

Enjoy. It's quite different in style, acting, and writing than say Treachery Faith and the Great River and thats a testement to how DS9 evolved and grew over the years. Its so fun going back and seeing a hairy COMMANDER Sisko, or an Odo who doesn't sound like Rene.

:)

New sig line alert! I found this quote entirely appropriate considering what happens in the following seasons. :D

I just completed my DS9 DVD collection today!* I finally got a hold of Season 1 with the bonus disc and I'm popping it in the DVD player right away! :D

Congrats, man!

I was very impressed with it on my run through as well. Even though the later seasons are better, S1 was done very well. I think I'll pop mine in again ;)

*Except for the season 3 bonus disc. But I'll find it eventually. ;)
Oh man, I'm sorry for ya! That has to be the BEST of the bonus discs! You've just GOT to find that one! Um... no pressure though :p :D

Congrats on getting the whole series, Steven! And you found a season 1 set with the bonus disc! I'm impressed!

Enjoy them! And I'll have my fingers crossed for you that you find that season 3 bonus disc! :)

Thanks, Vash. It was cheaper at Best Buy, but the sets they had didn't have the bonus disc, so I went back to Future Shop. ;)

And I just checked eBay, no S3 bonus discs. :( But I'll keep looking. ;)

Well I went downtown today, to pick up my girlfriend and I got there a little early, so I went to FutureShop which is right next to where she works. Anyway...I got The Minority Report and The Artificial Intelligence. I got them together in a "two-pack" for $22.99 canadian. :D Anyway... I've seen MR before and I liked it, and I've never seen AI before. I've heard diff opinions about it, so yeah, we'll see. :)

So did you watch AI yet? If so, tell us what you thought, BigFoot. Give me somethin' here, okay? ;)

Cus we are really not supposed to be bumping threads...blah, blahbity, blah, blah, blah. :p ;)

But speaking of movies...does anyone 'round here know when Revolutions is supposed to hit DVD?

^ According to Amazon, sometime in May or June but don't quote me on that.

It's amazing this thread is still strong after three months since season seven hit the shelves literally. :) Way to go, Niners!

No I haven't watched AI yet. I've been quite busy lately, so I haven't had much time to watch TV. I did watch an ep of B5 yesterday. :) Anyway...I do plan to watch it soon, I've got a midterm on friday though, so I've to study for that.

About Matrix Revolutions, I could be way off, but I remember reading something on dvd.ign.com where it said that it'll be out in april.

Ok, I just checked and on their site it says April 6th. Here's the link.

*sigh*

I never did go buy my B5 DVDs. I think I'm going to have to wait until my finances stabilize for the current year. My 3% raise is giving me a whole $6 extra in take-home-pay per month - woo - so I want to at least put a dent in the VISA balance before adding more to it. And I'm too cheap to buy them locally.

You too? Look like we have something in common, Krysta. My credit card companies are having a fit since I had max them out buying the box sets. I am slowly bringing the balances down via a financial consultant - Mainly my big sister - the CMA of my family. It may take a while but the thing is I got the box sets and I am satisfied. At least for now. :)

Pay raises doesn't do much. All of them eventually end up as taxes and income for the government at any rate. :( Sad but true.

^It is a sad state of affairs. I wait eagerly for my pay raise all year long, and it just amounts to a few dollars net at a time. Well, at least it's more, I guess ;)
Thankfully, I was able to pay back the sets I bought by credit card, but I still have plenty more debt to pay off anyway. No B5 for me right now :(, not in the budget ;)

I saw AI a while back. It was quite cerebral, but heart-wrenching at the same time. Your futuristic Pinoccio (mispelled, I'm sure). It nearly brought tears to my eyes at the end. I could see picking it up on DVD. Minority Report was very cool! I already got it

It's cool that you liked AI, hopefully I will too. :) Is there anyone else that's reading this thread that has seen it and has any thoughts about it? Without giving away spoilers of course. :) Anyway... I decided I'm gonna go home early today cos my back is killing me. So I might actually have the time to watch AI today. :) I gotta go catch the bus now.

I have seen it, and thought it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Without giving too much a way, the whole plot was stupid, and the movie should have ended 30 minutes before it did. Maybe I'm just not a Kubrick fan, (I didn't really like 2001 either) but this movie is boring.

I do hope you enjoy it though, for what its worth.

Thankfully, my VISA debt is quite low. But last year I was pushing the limit, and I don't EVER want that kind of pressure again. So, I'm making nice with the not-buying of non-essentials until I know I can pay it off within a month or two.

I'll admit it's a bit slow at times. You probably don't want to watch it while you're resting your back (hope you feel better, BTW). Laying down, eyes liable to be closed anyway... I can see you rewinding this a bit . I still thought it was moving throughout, though a bit depressing. I'm not a huge Kubrick fan (never got into 2001), so that didn't make a difference for me.

I thought AI was a Speilberg movie. Wonder where I got that idea from.

I've not seen it myself....

If I recall, It was Kubrick's Idea, and Speilberg followed it through.
