Okay...jeez....I can never keep track. Between the people who have never seen and and I'm trying to talk into it; the people who have never seen it and and who are now watching it on DVD; and the people who HAVE seen it and who are watching it on DVD.

*sob* I get SO confused!!!! :p

Poor Vash. Give her some headache medicine.

Better?

It's ok. :) It happens to all of us, hehe. Sometimes it really is hard to keep track of who's seen a certain show and who hasn't.

^Just for quick update:
BigFoot: already seen, rewatching on DVD
kevsthaman: barely seen, looking for the "hook up" so he won't have to buy them just to see if he likes them :D
Sakrysta: owns none, interested in starting. You've seen them before though, right?
Vash: confused :p

Anyone else, feel free to add to the list

Quick peak in thread. This thing is still going? Amazing! I thought it would had died a long time ago. NTL I had just finished rewatching the entire Season Seven box set (Not in a row! ) and ready for round five. :D

Are you gonna repeat your box set viewings?
Are you saying you've watched all the seasons through FOUR TIMES????  Man, go get B5 or something  :p

I'm already repeating my DS9 set viewings, just not in order. I watched the "Rules of Acquisition" review on the Best Buy S6 steal... er, bonus disc. That was really fun! I'll probably catch the Circle trilogy, then skip around some more. BigFoot is right, nothing like the joy of owning it ALL!!

Ditto for me too (we are talking about Bablyon 5 here, right?) :)

Does anyone Know if Sci-fi will restart Babylon 5 in order anytime soon. I remember when the show first aired, and I actually was into it the first and half of the second season. Than when the Shadow war was heating up, it got cancelled in my area and went over to TNT. Unfortunatly, I found out it was back on a few years too late and lost interest in the series. I would buy the DVD's, but I'm a little bit on the poor side this year. I am interested in seeing it all the way through though.

Yep, B5 and all the madness that ensues. I think sometime ago, Vash & others started encouraging us to check that out now that we've purchased DS9's entire series. Guess I'll take em up on that suggestion one day ;)

Maybe I should put YOU in charge of writing a DS9 Forum FAQ for Confused Moderators.

You know....a matrix delineating the status of all regular posters with regard to Babylon 5, Buffy, Angel, Farscape, SG-1, The Matrix, LOTR......

I'll even make you your own gushing thread.

Nay. Forget B5! We are Niners and we should be sticking to our favorite series, no?

Which reminds me - I want to resurrect the DS9 club. Stay tune for its grand reopening.

Yes, I've seen most of B5 off and on over the years. But I'd like to sit down and watch them in order. I probably have all or most of the episodes on tape somewhere in my house. But I recently got sick of all the video tapes cluttering my house (I have hundreds), so I packed a bunch of them away. I'll probably just wait until I can watch them on DVD, rather than tearing my closet apart trying to find my B5 tapes. ;)

Well, I got Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country today. It's been ages since I've seen it, so I really loved it. :) And to my surprise, besides Michael Dorn and Brock Peters (Joseph Sisko), Rene Auberjonois also had a role in it. :D Anyway, the movie looks and sounds great, and now I finally have the collector's/director's editions of all 6 original series movies. :D
So, did anyone else get the movie?

Lucky You. This is my favorite movie of the ten and I still am deciding wheather or not I should buy it or not. Have you seen the features, such as the tribute to Kelly?

^ Yeah, it's a great movie. Now that I've seen it again, it's pretty much tied with The Wrath of Khan for first place. :) And no, I haven't watched any of the extras yet, I heard they're good though. :)

Nope, my entire DVD collection is limited to S2-7 of DS9 and S5 of TNG. And that's probably how it's going to be for a while.

Besides, there's no way in hell I'm going outside in this weather: -48C (-54.4F) with the windchill!

^Brr!! Stay warm man!

I'm waiting on friggin Amazon to send it  I may cancel & buy it from Best Buy; they're just a few cents cheaper than Amazon right now.

But I LOVE Undiscovered Country! I've usually ranked that as tops with me along with STII:TWOK, but I've recently started getting into TUC more. It's more than just fight the big bad guy with the big bad weapon. It's about believing in principles, such as patriotism. And about old comfort zones being dismantled (such as who the "enemy" is or a way of life that you've been used to). It's about moving on, which I think they did very well with this movie. This is a great sendoff piece. I sold my old DVD a few weeks ago, and now I'm eager to get my hands on the new edition! Damn Amazon  ;)

See this is why I usually get everything from local stores. The prices usually aren't all that different and I almost always get it faster if I buy it myself. I remember when I ordered Firefly at amazon.ca, I got it more then a week after the official release. And I'm sorry if I came off as a smart ass, I'm not trying to be one. :) I just prefer to buy DVDs in person, there's also a sort of weird satisfaction when you pick up a DVD and go pay for it. :)

^I perfectly understand that! Amazon is weird. A few times I've ordered from them, the item arrived on the day of or maybe even one day before it was officially released in the stores. No more than a day or two afterward if not the day of. But lately, it's been more like a week or more later. That's when I start questioning the worth of buying online. These days, I mostly buy used items online, but still a few new ones when the prices are much cheaper than offline. I ordered TUC from Amazon cause the price was lower than anywhere else I saw it. But then I saw a Best Buy ad this past Sunday that made it comparable (including shipping at Amazon vs sales tax @ BB).

I'm trying to decide if I'll wait patiently on Amazon or cancel now & head to BB. This'll certainly affect my future choices about Amazon .

EDIT: wow, I made a few snafoos on this one.

^
Yeah, I get your point. :) And I agree that it definately makes sense to get used books online (I just bought The Brave and the Bold, books 1 & 2 last week for $3.60 american. Anyway...hopefully you'll get the DVD soon. :)

I just completed my DS9 DVD collection today!* I finally got a hold of Season 1 with the bonus disc and I'm popping it in the DVD player right away! :D

*Except for the season 3 bonus disc. But I'll find it eventually. ;)

^ Cool, congrats. :) Isn't it a nice feeling? :D

You really should get the S3 bonus disc somewhere cos it's definately the best one, hehe. :)
