umm, if I wanted to do that I'd have kept the location of my board a secret. and there's nothin' stoppin' you from joinin' other boards and visitin' my place or Goldie's once in a while.
Well, folks. I did it. I finally watched Time's Orphan. And really, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, based on the groans I've heard around here for a couple of years!
I mean, it will never be on my top ten list or anything....but it's not THAT bad.
Of course, I finished watching Profit and Lace right before it...so maybe it was only good by COMPARISON!

I got my package from amazon!!! So I now finally have Unity and Firefly! I also got 98% on the user manual we had to do for english and I have an A in that course overall. The teacher said he loved the user manual and asked me if he can keep it so that he can show it around. My comp 132 final went great aswell. So yeah, today has been awesome. And we're going out for dinner and me and my g/f might also go see a movie. Anyway...i gotta stop rambling. c ya

I haven't got Unity yet, and I don't have the entire series on DVD yet either.
But things are looking up! I put Unity and the Companion on the top of my X-mas list, so here's hoping. And I'll probably go hunting for Seasons 1 & 5 after I pay for tuition next term and know exactly how much money I can spend on me.

Well, BigFoot...congratulations on you good grade in English! That's fantastic! And I'm glad that you got your package from Amazon. I hope to pick up Firefly myself sometime. I've not seen it...but I love Buffy and Angel....and I want to see what all the hubub is all about. I've seen about every other SFF show out there...may as well try Firefly. But I hate getting into a show that's been canceled.....I don't know....

We do tend to overexaggerate around here sometimes. When I watched it recently, I was surprised by how much I really enjoyed the ep. It was a good ep to me in terms of how Miles & Keiko respected the person their child had become rather than TRY to send her back. It's probably because I've been watching the consistent family emphasis with the O'Briens over this entire year, so the ep was better to me. Still not top 10, of course Well BigFoot, I couldn't help but crack open Firefly either
I tore on through the 1st disc real quick-like. Very cool! Vash, you oughta check it out sometime. Just think of it this way: you can be caught up on the whole series in only 14 eps Shame it had to go, but I think that's saying something for a show that was so well liked after a short time. I must admit, I started liking it from the first show aired ("Train Job", mainly for a wild little scene at the end, no comment ).Wow, what's this thread about these days anyway?

Well...I'm going back home for the holidays tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing people again...and my cute puppy. I am definately NOT looking forward to the flying though. Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with the flying itself, what I do hate though is the lack of room and the crappy food and all that crap.
The really crappy part about me leaving is that I won't spend christmas with my girlfriend. But this is my only chance of going home at the moment. Next time I can go again is gonna be in the summer. Anyway...I'm not sure how much I'm gonna be online in the next three weeks. I will come and check around here every once in a while, but I only have dial-up back home so I won't be here a lot. Everyone better behave while I'm gone.

I used to have dial-up when I still lived back home, but I unsubscribed when I left. My dad only uses the internet to check e-mail that I send him and maybe a couple of other things, so there's really no point for my folks still having DSL.
