Yikes. Either I made a mistake in my sentence or someone is playing a trick on me. I meant to write...

"I am not enjoying this season as much as the others."

NOT enjoying. Sorry.

Well it sucks that you're not enjoying S6 as much as the others. I do like your sig though. :D

Not season six. Season seven. I love six. I am...iffy on seven. There is just so much Ezri. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed seeing her adorable face, but she seems to be a central character in every other episode.

^Well, I do think they spent too much time trying to get her character up to speed. She's a good character...but they really didn't need to spend as much time on her as they did.

However, I think that alot of the Ezri stuff is weighted toward the beginning of the season. The last 10 episodes are pretty much everyone, IIRC. But I haven't seen season 7 in over a year....so it's difficult to remember. All those episodes at the end run together a bit in my mind, as they are one big story.

Well, I'm nearly through the season, and the Worf/Ezri Breen prison story ran a little too long. Three episodes and they arrived back on DS9 at the beginning of a fourth. Ugg...

There have been some real jewels, though.

Treachery, Faith and the Great River
The Siege of AR-558
It's Only a Paper Moon
Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges

Heck, I even got a kick out of Take Me Out to the Holosuite. Worf's comments were perfect. :)

^ Yeah...those are all among my favorites from season 7. But I also like Chrysalis, Badda-Bing Badda-Bang, The Changing Face of Evil, When it Rains, Tacking into the Wind, and WYLB. In fact, I even like Covenant! :p

I cry during WYLB...it's so sad at the end.....

I really hope that you like the end of the show...I'd hate to see you end it on a sour note! :(

Ooops, that was a typo. :)

Yeah, there's a lot of very good eps in S7. Maybe it didn't have as many absolutely amazing eps as S6, it was still a VERY good season overall and it still had a lot of great episodes.

I always cry during WYLB aswell. I remember the first time I watched that episode I was absolutely devastated. Something so wonderful as DS9 had come to an end and I just couldn't take it. I was actually depressed for a couple of days. But hey...I can watch it again...and again...and again. :D

EDIT:

Oh yeah, I watched The Siege of AR-558 again for the second time in two tuesday. I just love that episode. I actually think I might watch it again tomorrow. :) Either way...I didn't get to watch much DS9 today. I got home late and then my and my g/f watched a movie and some TV. But after that we got to watch some DS9 so we watched AR-558 and Badda-bing Badda-bang. :)

I don't necessarily cry during WYLB persay, but because this year has felt like watching the series for the first time, I will have an emotional reaction different from the other times I've seen the episode.

As for me, I took my final sick day (I really hope to go back to my normal life on monday, minus the passing out :( ) with a maga-marathon of DS9. I started the day with Its Only a Paper Moon and ended tonight with Strange Bedfellows. I don't think I watched so much DS9, or Star Trek for that matter in my life and it was fun. I can't wait till tommarow night, time to get into the meat of the illustrious "Final Chapter." (Maybe its just me, but I just love the advertising campaign for it back in 1999, it was sad, but sounded so cool :D )

It's interesting to note Sisko's adventure began on Bajor with Kai Olpaka and ended on Bajor in the Fire Caves with Kai Wynn. Come to think of it, only two seasons in the entire series that seemed to bring the story arc away from the planet - seasons four and five - where the stories are concentrated on the station, Klingons and the onging UFP/Dominion war. Here is just another example of how an outstanding scifi series ought to be done. ;)

Maybe we can wake B&B up by forcing them to study the writing behind my favorite Star Trek series.

Well, I just watched Take Me Out to the Holosuite and Chrysalis last night, so I changed my av to my fav TMOttH av of Sisko! :D

Boy, I'm flying through this season! :p ;)

Finished "What You Leave Behind" at 2am this morning... What a perfect end to a great series.

I need a bit of a break from DS9 right now. Over the past few months, not only have I been watching seasons 5 and 6, but rewatching the entire series again in preparation for season 7, and getting caught up on the relaunch, having only read Avatar, parts 1 and 2 before. But starting in January I plan on watching one episode a day until I go through the whole journey again.

NOOOOO!!!!!!!! My record!

How dare you finish Season 7 before me!

;) :p

I have an excuse though, I have exams to write. But after the one in just over an hour, I'll be finishing up my Season 7 set. ;)

I'm going to do the same thing. Once I finish S7 today, I'll start all over again, at S1... doing probably 4 eps a day. :)

Looks like this thread could use a bump. :) And I wanted to show off my new Firefly themed avatar. :D

Give Sakrysta a hug.

I had a feeling you need it, kiddo. Don't despire. Now that you have your copy, you can watch the disks as much and as often as you like. ;)
Aww, thanky. ;) Actually, I've let the Christmas decorations wait a bit and have made it through "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges." :D :p I SO wanted to jump right into "Penumbra," but I absolutely HAD to go to bed. And if I spend so much time on DS9 this week, I'm going to be one dead duck come Friday.

Well, I finished my "favorite episode" Valiant last night (Die Watters! Die! ) ...and started Profit & Lace. :D

Just remember, it's always darkest before the dawn. As you watch "Profit and Lace," just keep reminding yourself what you have to look forward to. :D

^

I know. I'm trying. But it was so stupid, that I just had to pause it for a while. And the sad thing is that I haven't even gotten to the drag part yet! :p

Have fun Vash. :p

Right now, I'm watching The Circle from the 2nd Season set I picked up the same day as my 7th Season set. :)

Well, on Saturday night I finished Season 7 and now I'm really glad I have Star Trek's (IMO) Golden Age. (TNG and DS9 on DVD) I honestly can't believe I finished the season so fast but with all those sick days, I had the time.
