The Final Official Countdown to Season Seven

Well, I just finished S6. :) You know, some people complain how bad TOTP was, but IMO it's a good ep. It's not great and I agree that Jadzia's death could be handled better, but overall it was still a good ep. I enjoyed it thoroughly. And I've seen it at least 3 times before. :) Anyway...I can't wait to see Ezri tomorrow. :D I always liked her character. One other thing I'm also looking forward to, besides the obvious stuff like the 10-parter at the end, is more eps with Vic. I just love James Darren's singing. :)

Wednesday night, it will be mine!
I convinced my parents to buy it for me for my birthday! Yeah me! So, now I can actually go buy Alias season 2 tomorrow instead. Yeah me!

Hopefully, my package will arrive tomorrow. There are a few Season Seven episodes I've never seen all the way through. The Siege of AR-558, Prodigal Daughter, Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges, Covenant, and a couple others, I think.

I thought I'd seen practically everything from this season, but I guess my local station didn't play the reruns in order.

Come on, FedEx! I have the entire day off tomorrow. That means DS9 marathon. :)

Well, I'll go tomorrow and pick up season 7. But I've still got a ways to got to finish season 6 - I just finished watching His Way tonight! So I think that I'm still six episodes and a disc full of special features away from seaon 7.

But I have to say, I just LOVE Vic Fontaine. Because I've been watching DS9 from the beginning since February, I haven't had much opportunity to watch season 6 and 7 episodes this year. And tonight, seeing Vic again for the first time in several months just put a smile right on my face. I just love him. He's a totally cool cat!

And so...for a limited time (until I put up my avatar to celebrate Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow night!), I'm changing my avatar to Vic!

Good to see you again, Pally! :p ;)

^ You mean, you're not watching DS9 on Space? They just started Season 7 last Wednesday.

No I'm not. I just don't have the time. Not to mention the fact that DS9 just looks so much better on DVD. :D

Hey, good for you! :D Have fun with both the sets. I hope I'll get Alias S2 for x-mas and if not, I might get it for myself after new years.

Well you're in for quite a treat. Especially with AR-558 which is just an absolutely amazing ep. :)

Yeah, Vic is awesome. By far my favourite hologram ever. He's also in TOTP singing Here's to the Losers for Bashir and Quark; awesome stuff. Like I said earlier, he's one of the MANY reasons I can't wait for S7. I especially love I've Got the World on a String, It's Only a Paper Moon and The best is yet to come with Avery. :D Man I'm sooooooooooo glad that I get S7 tomorrow. :D :D :D At least I hope so, FutureShop better have it. Anyway...It'll be tuesday in 72 minutes so I think I'm gonna change my avatar now. :D I mean hey, it's tuesday already on the east coast. :D

I just finished Tears of the Prophets *sniff*. I'm stoked and ready for Season 7, even if my bank account isn't.

Hope you feel better Tomalak301. :)

I'm going to wait and get mine during the replay days and get those triple points. But I'm especially looking forward to this season as I missed many of these episodes, due to the fact that my idiotic affiliate moved the show around or didn't air some episodes.

And complaining did no good, as they were just doing a favor by even airing the show, becuase it didn't get good ratings.

But never again will I be dependent on a station for my DS9.

:D

Sigh.

I'm making myself wait until Friday to get my box. I went by Best Buy yesterday hoping it was out early, and of course it wasn't. So, when I got home, I checked my mail, and what do you know? Best Buy coupons - good Dec. 5-7 - for 10% off.

If it weren't a $100 set...
If it weren't Christmas season...
If I weren't such a tightwad...
If Best Buy didn't have such STUPID weekend sales...

Sigh.

^I understand. If it weren't for an extra Replay (Triple Points) Weekend at Sam Goody back in Oct, and me actually having some extra cash
woo.gif
, I'd be waiting till the Replay Weekend this Friday to get mine too. Thankfully, I can get it TODAY!!! OH YEAH!!!! :D

How'd you get ahead of me again! ;) I just watched 2 more eps last night, "Wrongs" & "Inquisition". Just love seeing the intro of S31 & Sloan  So, two more great eps, "Pale Moonlight" and yes "His Way" and then on to the next disc. I'm on my way to S7 baby!! (well, in 2 more discs or so ;))

Yep, I'm lookin forward to ol Pallie again too. The man was a truly unique character! I like how they made important and uniquely interesting characters even to the very end. Vic is  with me!

Mine's shipped, but won't be here until wed/thurs. Which I'm actually happy about. It's going to be sad when it arrives. End of a beuatiful year of worthy DVDs.

Bittersweet. :( :)

Oh, guess what I decided. :D I decided to only go to my final and then go straight downtown and pick up the set. :D Fun eh? :D So I should have the set, as long as they'll have them at FutureShop, by 11am. :D So in a little over three hours. :D :D

Thanks. I am actually feeling better today, but if I was still sick, nothing in this world was going to stop me from getting Season 7 today. In only a few hours, it will be mine, and the collection will be complete. Today is going to be sweet.

True, true. I'll remember 2003 for all time! Man, to be able to play these DVDs for years, even decades to come. Wow

Cool beans, man! I'm picking mine up in about 1 1/2 hours. Oh, joy :D

Well, I took a page out of YOUR book, dear bro...and watched a record FOUR episodes of DS9 last night: Wrongs Darker than Death or Night, Inquisition, In the Pale Moonlight, and His Way! I mean, they were all so good, I just couldn't stop watching! So I didn't! Seeing Vic Fontaine and Sloan again for the first time in MONTHS was like visiting with some old friends! That was awesome! Especially Vic, because he is one of my favorite recurring characters on DS9.

I've never been a fan of His Way...but seeing Vic again...and watching Nana do that "Fever" song was just awesome! I just LOVE this show! :p

But the next disc will be a bit tougher. I mean, The Reckoning will be easy enough to get thru...but I have to be in the right mood to sit thru that twerp in Valiant! :p Profit and Lace is next after that: 'nuf said I think. And then it will be time for Vash's Big Decision: do I finally watch Time's Orphan or not?

Still haven't decided for sure on that one!

Ohh yeah! The one ep not seen! How bout some brotherly advice? As a series finale for you, this one sucks  But as a standalone ep, it's not so bad (IMHO). I've certainly seen worse in DS9 & Trek. Plus, if you watch it now rather than wait till the very end, at least you'll have the rest of S6 & S7 to make up for it ;) So, I say watch it!
