^Actually, I think we've got 2 sig/avatar themes going. Some of us are celebrating the release of X2 on DVD. Others are still awaiting LOTR:ROTK with the sig line: "Niner's aren't linear; we're in Middle Earth". So, pick yer poison 
I'll probably be back into LOTR mode next week.
Or I might have to commemorate the release of the FINAL SEASON of DS9 somehow. Now that I'm near the end, it really doesn't seem to have been so long! Can't wait till next Tues to complete the collection

Heck yeah it'll be fun. The collection will be finally be complete and I will be owning (IMO) the golden age of trek. (1987-1999) That will be so sweet.

Boy, I can't believe that there's only 6 days left until the last Season of DS9 is released. I've got a new av picked out for the occasion, too.
Just watched X2 last night, and boy that was one awesome movie! I can't wait until the third one comes out.

FYI, startrek.com has a 10 great season seven episodes with short editorials for each. I don't know if this has been linked to yet. Not reading the whole thread.

They actually compiled a pretty good list. I'd put a couple of diff eps on it, but still, pretty good.

Hey, Bigfoot. I like it but wish instead of the flashing (which is as annoying the flashing banner ads), you'd have the pictures of the station and cast on for a little longer so I could admire them more. Especially Jadzia and Ezri.
(I actually have av's off, but I view them with Print Thread when I want to see a specific one.)
Overall, I like. But I'd prefer to see less flash, more people.

Do you think you could do it without the flashing of the words, though? When I see something flashing on the net, I automatically ignore and dislike it, scrolling away from it as fast as possible. I have av's off so it doesn't affect me, and if no one else complains or everyone else likes it, it's fine. Just a thought. People might pay a little more attention if you don't flash the same word multiple times.

And yeah, I definitely would've chosen some different ones than the editor at startrek.com. As spoiler-free as I can make 'em.
Shadows & Symbols. The climax of all three plots is great, and pretty well handled switching between them.
Chrysalis. Faith C Salie is beautiful and has a beautiful singing voice. What? I can't love the episode because of that?
Treachery, Faith and Great River. A two-plotter with some great visuals, a moral dilemma/surprise, double-talk, and Nog doing Klinger or whoever that was who did a similar thing on MASH
The Siege of AR-558. Music and the grittiness of war. Not quite Saving Private Ryan, but a _damn_ good effort.
It's Only a Paper Moon. I bought James Darren's "This One's From the Heart" primarily for this song, and the episode is so moving. Also, Jake's only real episode of the season.
Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges. Spy games aren't James Bond anymore. Brilliant.
Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang. I prefer placing this fluff episode between Inter Arma and the Final Chapter. It's just fun. It's the S7 ep for me what Holosuite is for most people. Also, Ezri in a waitress outfit. Ezri in a waitress outfit. Ezri in a waitress outfit. Does anyone have that stinsv pic of her in that costume?
The final chapter is all one Big Bang to me. Moreso than the Occupation arc, I can't sep the episodes, though the shocks in Changing Face of Evil and Kira & Odo in Tacking into the Wind stand out.
