Tonight I was in Media Play for triple points night, pre-ordering Pirates of the Caribbean and LOTR-TT Extended Edition (among other things...including DS9 season 7). While the guy was filling out my slips, I made the comment that Orlando Bloom could stand on a blue screen for 2 hours, and I'd go and watch it.
He thought I was hilarious!

Dec 2 is only DEEP SPACE NINE SEASON 7 as far as I'm concerned. After that, Firefly on Dec 9 (and most of that will be paid in Replay certificates). After that, the wallet rests
I can't wait for the 10 ep Arc, and the Breen. When I got Season 1 DVDs, and watched Emissary, all I could think of was the episode when the Breen join the Dominion.

I know what you mean! So many DVDs, so little time (or money). My wallet won't get much of a rest. I'm hoping I can survive Christmas! I'm interested in renting Babylon 5 DVDs; maybe NetFlix will start seeing my money again. And gotta finish getting the Trek Special Edition DVDs. And the Indiana Jones set. But I may start on them sometime next year! Bunches of other stuff, but I just can't stand to think of em. The wallet is HURTING ALREADY!

This is the way I feel, Pale Moonlight. The past year in this forum has just *zoomed* by, IMO! It seems like a very short time ago that we were all excited about the DVD's coming out at last....if I didn't KNOW it was February, I'd have guessed it was only a few months ago.
Oh well...I guess time flys when you are having fun!

Something that worries me is what will happen next year. I remember when the TNG DVDs came out, that forum was really active and now its almost the graveyard of the trekbbs. (No offense intended, for this is my observation) I can't believe how inactive that forum has become. Now that the DVDs for DS9 will be overwith, what will happen to this forum. Will it die down, will it continue to grow, or will it level off? I hope that even without the excitment of DVDs coming out, both forums will continue to be as active as ever.
