Complete, I might add, with Legolas the Exceedingly HOT.

Using my new webcam, I can finally show you my facial expression whenever I read that...

Okay....

Oh, and I've heard that Vash hasn't finished watching Season 7 yet?!

Vash, is that true?

Yes. Sadly, it is true. :p

I think I'm on Prodigal Daughter...but I've not watched any DS9 in a couple of weeks.

I've been working very hard on my Sims version of Rivendell. :p  Complete, I might add, with Legolas the Exceedingly HOT.

Well...you need to watch some more DS9 soon. Otherwise people around here might get grumpy. :D

Rivendell does look cool though. :)

^

I'm adding more pictures now and changing the order of them a bit so check back in a few minutes.

That house is going into a contest on another BBS I post on: "Build a House from a TV show or movie". So I want to know what you guys think...especially those of you who have played The Sims and sorta know the limitations of the game (only 2 story houses, not much selection of rooflines, etc)

Also...let me know if you can follow the order of the pictures. I tried to put them in order so that you move around the lot in a systematic manner. So I'd love the opinions of those who are not as familiar with the house as I am. :)

I've not posted in this thread at all. But I feel the need to deflect some attention from Vash.
Brace yourself Niners.

I've got all 7 seasons on DVD and NOT begun to watch them straight through.

What!(gasp), How(gulp), Why not?(sigh)

I got so backlogged in other DVD's and outside stuff(ie job, intramural sports) that I hadn't even watched my TNG sets. I was viewing X-Files & Buffy.

But life has a way of playing catch up. You see I got laid off(see corporate shut down/move) DEC '03.
I abandoned X-Files & Buffy and dove into my TNG's.

I'm now 2eps into season six. "Relics" w/Scotty is ep6.4.
I hope to have a job before I get to "...All Good Things" but I've decided that I will immediatly go into DS9 following TNG.
The only thing that could get in my way.....outside forces.

Any way if there are some looking for an excuse to maintain this thread.....perhaps I've given you one. :D

^ Nope, we don't need any excuses to maintain this thread. :D It's gonna die once it reaches 1000 posts, not before that.

Anyway...I hope you find a job soon. And have fun with DS9.

Vash, like I said, it looks great. :) And yeah, the order of the pics does make sense.

A couple of comments -

Yeah...this thread is too close to 1,000 to let it die. I think this thread may well be the longest thread ever in DS9. But if not, it is certainly the longest since I've been on this board. It will be an interesting experience to close a thread for length! :)

And thanks for your comments on Rivendell. I'm going to put it into the contest this weekend...so we'll see what happens. Right now, I'm up against a Clampett Mansion! But I'm sure others will enter as well. :)

Wow, Vash! I don't know anything about the Sims, but seems to me you've done some very lovely work (well, up until including that Legolas character, but anyway :p). I... guess we can excuse your tardiness on finishing those DS9 DVDs. I guess ;)

Welcome Captain Craig! And here I thought no one would watch DS9 on DVD slower than Vash  Oh well, post back anytime. Yep, we're taking this thread till we can't take it no more! Then we'll take it to the Klingon Restaurant, to kick back some gagh (no, not you Gagh) and some bloodwine! I might even have to pull out the ol Klingon accordian!

Sounds great. :D

^A round of bloodwine for you, man! Happy Birthday! That cool cake next to your name must be something new they're doing on the BBS; I haven't seen that before.

Happy birthday, BigFoot!
Thanx man. :D It's actually been a lot of fun so far. I've already gotten some presents (everything from my folks including 2 seasons of Angel) and stuff from my g/f a couple of movies and books. :D

You've got to share this day with 3 other people on the BBS though. :p
That's okay, I don't mind, hehe. :)

This is one chap who ain't being slung around, unless there are many people who can sling 231 pound men around :D
OK... being a man who ain't into talking about doing stuff that involves touching or holding other men, I think I'll say no more on this comment

...but y'all best be ready for some good ol' slimey stuff in about 300 more posts :p :D

300 posts at this BBS takes me an eternity these days :(

However, I would advocate the use of the word 'sling' some more, simply because it sounds great.

So does 'Phoonzang' for that matter, so sling my Phoonzang.
