Another vote for this movie.
The humour-especially from unexpected sources like the normally serious Ian Holm,or from Brion James(usually the heavy) is just spot on,while the slapstick of Lee Evans doesn't jar too much.
Visually the movie is stunning and makes such a pleasant change from the "Alien" school of sci-fi set design that dominates much of Hollywood's sci-fi output.
The great soundtrack also deserves a mention ...formidable!
