I would also suggest the Klingons are not as "clean" as the Federation, and might have a bit more waste to deal with instead of recycling and/or reusing as much.

Do 23rd Century Klingons have replicators? Some doubt the 23rd Century Federation had replicators.

The 23rd Century was a less recycled/replicated time.

That's brilliant! It doesn't look much like a garbage scow (at least not what I pictured one to look like) but it's an awesome design nonetheless. The execution of the drawing it really lovely too!

Incredible concept to what was said on screen. I now cannot get that notion out of my mind when thinking of that scene.

This design is really quite wonderful, very Jeffries-esque as well.
