Besides, you get another 13 episodes of Billie Piper.I personally liked her more with the Ninth than with the Tenth.
Totally agree!

I always thought this show was right up your alley, J. Glad to hear you like it!
DUN-DU-DUN DUN-DU-DUN DUD-DU-DUN DUNDUNDUN
OOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Welcome to the fold, J.Allen! As a fellow Who enthusiast, I would enthusiastically advise you to watch "Season One" from 2005, starring Christopher Eccleston as the 9th incarnation of The Doctor. It will give you a better idea of, not only how versatile Doctor Who is, but how he meets Rose Tyler (as you say, the smoking hot Billie Piper).
Enjoy!![]()
J, did you go right into the Tenth Doctor's episodes or have you watched any of Christopher Eccleston's season?
I've only watched the ones with David Tennant, so Tenth Doctor only.
Aww, you should watch the Ninth Doctor as well, I think you'd like those stories. I know that's also available for Instant Streaming on Netflix.

One of the best Classic Who serials is "The Caves Of Androzani". It's the 5th Doctor's final story. And it is amazing.
Just sayin'

Ah. I started that one earlier this week. I got bored pretty quickly and did something else. I'll have to try again now that I know it's an important one.
I also enjoyed Cracked.com's "primer" on Doctor Who, though it is unfairly hard on Eccleston.

Eccleston? It was unfairly hard on ALL of the actors. It's written in a personal and vindictive style. Whenever anyone questions the article, she immediately comes back with a giant bitch slap lobbied directly at the poster.
If I was unfamiliar with Doctor Who and read that article, I wouldn't even give the show a chance.

11th Doctor Matt Smith has only even been filming his first episides for a month, and he won't be seen onscreen as the Doctor until Tennant turns into him this January, but already he's polarised Who fans.

Well, it's not REALLY all that important until the last 5 minutes of the last episode. Then it becomes just about the most important 5 minutes in the entire series.
