The Doctor Who Off Season

Since we just got done with 12 straight weeks of Doctor Who, and are now in the "off season" until the Christmas special, I've had an urge to keep watching. So, I've made myself a plan to watch at least one NuWho episode/story a week until the Christmas special. Now I could totally go overboard and finish it all in a month, but if it happens it happens  I've got a list of episodes to rewatch, with my only "rule" being that I had to have at least one episode/story per series, and that I'd try to not over do it with any one particular Doctor. This is what I've got for the 24 weeks until Christmas:

Code:
Series 1 Episode 6 Dalek
Series 1 Episode 12/13 Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways
Series 2 Episode 3 School Reunion
Series 2 Episode 12/13 Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
Series 3 Episode 12/13 The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords
Series 4 Episode 6 The Doctor's Daughter
Series 4 Episode 8/9 Silence in the Library/ Forest of the dead
Series 4 Episode 12/13 The Stolen Earth/Journey's End
Special 2 The Waters of Mars
Series 5 Episode 1 The Eleventh Hour
Series 5 Episode 11 The Lodger
Series 5 Episode 12/13 The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang
Series 6 Episode 7/8 A Good Man Goes to War/Lets Kill Hitler
Series 6 Episode 12 Closing Time
Series 7 Episode 3 A Town Called Mercy
Series 7 Episode 5 The Angels Take Manhattan
Series 7 Episode 13 The Name of The Doctor
Day of the Doctor
The Time of the Doctor
Series 8 Episode 1 Deep Breath
Series 8 Episode 5 Time Heist
Series 9 Episode 11-12 Heaven Sent/Hell Bent
Series 10 Episode 1 The Pilot
Series 10 Episode 12 World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls
BONUS: The Tenth Planet (Because it goes well with the end of series 10 and the upcoming X-Mas special)

This looks like a lot, but at a one episode/story a week(in order) pace its not really much at all. I mostly just went with episode I felt like rewatching, skipping some episodes I like a lot but have rewatched recently (like End of Time). I also want to add some classic Who, so with a "watch anytime" requirement (so not specifically once a week), I'm going with

Code:
1st Doctor: Planet of the Giants
2nd Doctor: The Ice Warriors
3rd Doctor: Carnival of Monsters
4th Doctor: Destiny of the Daleks
5th Doctor: The Visitation
6th Doctor: The Two Doctors
7th Doctor: Silver Nemesis
8th Doctor: Doctor Who – The Movie

The first five of these Classic Who stories I've never seen, while the last 3 are rewatches (since I've seen every 6th and 7th Doctor serial and I've seen the movie before).

I'm curious if anyone else has any "off season" plans, or any specific way they're planning to continue watching/etc Doctor Who stuff during the wait until the end of the 12th Doctor, and Steven Moffat's, era.

It's not a plan, but lately I've been catching up with some Doctor who episodes/serials. I just watch them every so often whenever it takes my fancy and when I can.

Good point on The Tenth Planet, though. Maybe it'll gain traction during the half year before the X-Mas Special? Would be nice for a re-appraisal of it, anyhow.

Yeah, I definitely mean to watch The Tenth Planet at some point, likely not actually until December. It's actually become a bit of a tradition of mine as soon as I'm done my Christmas shopping I veg out on random TV shows I had on DVD until Christmas day when I start watching the new DVDs or blu-rays I get as a gift, it's partly just a fun tradition, and mostly to motivate me to get my shopping done ASAP. So yeah, in addition to The Tenth Planet I'll likely watch An Adventure in Space in Time, just to re-familiarize myself with David Bradley and maybe even The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances just for the bookend effect (Moffat's first script just before his last).

I would add Utopia in there as well. The return of Jack and the Master, a dramatic cliffhanger, one of my favorites of the new series.
