News The Disney+ (The New Streaming Service) Thread

I haven't had any problems with sound while watching on my PS4.
Watched the original Pete's Dragon this morning, it was fun, with some great songs, and a nice story. The stuff with Elliot was pretty impressive for 1977, some of the sequences must have been pretty complicated to set up.

Does anyone know if the content will be no longer available or can someone join say next yearish and all of the released episodes will still be there?

A scam is, by definition, dishonesty and usually involves fraud. If you truly believe that then I believe that some government agencies would be interested in hearing that allegation.
Not enough regulation, so the government won't save us here.

I would assume the content will be there as long as the Sun burns in our sky or when Disney crumbles, which ever happens first.

I call that a SCAM. Should've been a 4 hour miniseries.

Barry’s a really good drama and the story actually fits the episode length. We’ve long since moved from actually having set lengths for our stories based on antiquated network time slots. Perhaps you could stop the hyperbolic drama and be open to the changes that are happening. You can join the here and now or live in the past. Choice is yours. But I assure you, in the streaming age, there will be no length minimum or maximum. You may have a 81 minute episode followed by a 36 minute episode. Length will be based what the story requires. And that’s a good thing.

Yes, finally. No padding to episodes. I can't tell you how much they can stick out to me now.

Just do what the story needs; no more, no less.
How about, tell a story that gives the viewers their money's worth. I am sure you people will be super happy with 5 minute episodes soon.

THIS. There have been some chunks of netflix shows that are clearly padded out to make an hour.
I want bang for my buck, not empty calories to fill some antiquated idea of how long a show should be.
