Just barely too according to some stories I heard. They pretty much finished the off ramp to get there the day before.
There's a lot more to this than just Marvel and Star Wars.
Here's IGN's list of everything coming to Disney+, and there is a lot of stuff coming to it that I hadn't even heard about until I read the article a couple days ago. Some of the stuff I was surprised, and somewhat intrigued by are, a live action Lady and the Tramp, new Mighty Ducks, a Don Quixote movie, a new Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, a live action Sword in the Stone, and a Jeff Goldblum/National Georgraphic series called The World According to Jeff Goldblum. It's also going to have a new Muppets series, a Monsters Inc. sequel series with Billy Crystal and John Goodman, and Fox content including every episode of The Simpsons, Avatar, and at least some Planet of the Apes movies.
Still haven't heard confirmation on the early classic Disney cartoon shorts. Probably not at launch, I bet they are going through all of them to edit out anything deemed offensive. I'm sure it will have all the Herbie movies. I wonder if they will the have the short lived and very obscure Herbie TV series.

So either Disney will spread the content to other local subscription services or the new Star Wars and Marvel series will top the worlds most pirated series lists. DisneyLife doesn't seem to be available in the whole Europe. Might be UK only?
I was wondering about that too.
And how this will effect DisneyNow, the site and app where they post episodes of all of their current series. I've watched the majority of Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: Resistance, and a few episodes of the current Spider-Man animated series on there.
Apparently at least some of WandaVision is somehow set back in the '50s.

It aired as a three-part serial on Disney's Wonderful World of Color back in the sixties. It was a spooky adventures series set in 18th century England in which Patrick McGoohan played a hero with a double life: by day, a kindly village pastor, by night a notorious smuggler known as the Scarecrow, complete with a creepy costume and diabolical laugh. Think a 1700s version of Batman or the Shadow.
For some reason, it's become a rarity. After many delays and postponements, Disney finally released it on DVD several years ago, but only as a limited-edition which quickly sold out and now goes for $500 or so on Amazon. I've never been entirely sure why it's so scarce (although I've heard rumors of tangled rights issues), which is why I'm curious to see if it will finally become widely available again.

Thanks, but I jumped on the Limited Edition the moment it came out.
The only Star Wars I really want to watch more than once are original cuts of original movies which I’m guessing won’t be available. I like Marvel but not enough to spend extra money for it. So I will only get it if they add a few really good original series.
I certainly get cutting the crow scene out of Dumbo. But I disagree, because it’s like trying to erase the parts of history we’re not proud of instead of showing them in context of how wrong they were.

JirinPanthosa, yeah, I disagree with them as well. They did that with a little centaur in Fantasia with the VHS release several years ago. It was very racist, but still...
As for Song of the South, I understand the problem with it, but why not let people see it? Forbidding a thing doesn't allow us to truly talk about it...

$100 per year? Does that include the cost of the broadband provider's services, device(s) - especially tablets and phones, or just the gaggle of streaming services?
In other words, I wonder if people will go to cord-patching next as $120/mo for the same myriad of channels because it's arguably much cheaper. Depends on the number of people and devices being used when all is said and done.
I don't see why the can't just put a disclaimer or even a special introduction in front of Song of the South explaining the the problems and context of it. According to Wikipedia, Whoopi Goldberg has actually said she would like to see it released, so maybe they could get her to do it for them.
I believe Warner Bros. included some of the more problematic old Looney Toones/Merry Melodies cartoons with a diclaimer in one of the big sets of old cartoons, and some of the comic book publishers have done it for the digital versions of some old comics on Comixology. For example a while back they started adding the early Archie comics and each one includes this on it's store page.
