I'm not sure, but I don't think she started to do the convention thing until after the 20th anniversary, so she may not have as much active recall of what went down.

Telling stories over and over obviously helps with your memory (really, though, it becomes ultimately remembering telling the stories as opposed to actual events).

But that's a fair point. Without that, it's extremely easy to remember stuff that happened decades ago.

I like Armin. I just think it’s quite funny that he seems to be the most deathly serious of all the cast and he was playing primarily the comic relief character. That must have killed him. I do remember his frustrations sometimes spilling into interviews. A few times I’ve wondered if he might actually be on the spectrum. I recognise some of the characteristics, but I could be way off base. Either way, aside from taking things a bit too seriously and getting hung up on silly details, I enjoy many of his insights.

I can understand Terry’s fuzzy memory. It was 30+ years ago and she was an actor just doing a job. I was in school back in the 90’s and I honestly wouldn’t be able to recount much of what happened week by week or even semester by semester. It’s kind of a blur. I don’t know if I’d even be able to name a fair few of my classmates. Obviously it’s not the same, but still, memory can be a tricky thing.

every week so far as been an episode I enjoy lol

actually, looking at the full episode list, I think the only episode I dislike this season is 'Sons of Mogh'.

I'm only halfway through (haven't gotten to the "bonus" material), but the episode with Siddig El Fadil is so good I want to petition the show to have him permanently replace Armin.

It was a delight and a breath of fresh air.

And he actually remembers details of filming, which the other two almost never do.

Great episode! And that's just at the halfway point.

I wonder if they actually ask the guests not to spoil future storylines or the guests just forget not to as both Dorn and El Fadil have leaped ahead a lot in their comments.

But yes a good episode with a nice vibe in keeping with the show itself. There are many bits that don't make sense but it's a fun romp and dwelling on those bits wasn't needed so glad they didn't.

Hell, they try not to spoil what's going to happen later in the episode they're actually describing!

It was a really great episode, one of my favs, and Siddig was delightful.

Interesting that, as much as he remembered some nice details, he was fuzzy on a lot of stuff about the overall show. But, that's not surprising, since he said it was the "first time" he'd watched the episode, or, at the very least, the first time since it initially aired.

For instance, he wasn't sure if the Melora episode had happened or not, even though it was a full two years previous.

And he forgot that they did (briefly!) resurrect the Secret Agent holoprogram one other time in "A Simple Investigation."

I reckon with Dorn and Siddig they might be a bit loose with the spoilers (though they do jovially call them out on it) because they're guests and there's always the potential, despite the 'I'd love to come back's that it's the only time they'll be on the podcast.

My sense has been that they don't mention anything about avoiding spoilers to the guests beforehand. It always seems very much like any pre-discussion doesn't get into many details, beyond "watching the series in order, one episode per week, we take listener questions." Whenever they get to the individual segments, Garrett is always explaining what they are to the guests in a way that sounds like the first time it's being brought up.

I'm basing this on nothing, so I could be 1,000% wrong, but I always imagined that they just didn't want to make it sound too involved beforehand. "Hey, come on our podcast! Here's several rules you have to follow. First, you have to make sure not to spoil anything..." And of course we all know how hard it is for the cast to remember what happened when (reasonable), so they try not to make it sound restrictive and then the conversation goes where it goes.

I actually think it'll be good for the discussions that Robbie and Garrett got spoiled for the genetic enhancement. Several times so far on this pod, they've been having interesting chats about Bashir, that then hit a wall when Armin or Terry can't say anymore without giving it away.
