Got my tickets, 3:00 Saturday afternoon with the local theater's "Cinema Suites."
Uh, it's still Wednesday............
Not in Australia it isn't.
To be fair I think TDKs pace could have been improved by deleting that long sequence in China. It was a great sequence and stunningly shot but it brought the story to a dead stop.
The novelization, written by our very own Greg Cox comes out on July 24th.
Should be terrific. Greg is a fantastic writer.
Damn, Australia and their always causing Temporal Paradoxes. They'll ruin us some day with that shit!
Thanks, Agent and Admiral! I can't believe the book is finally coming out!
I assume you had access to the full script? From the sound of it, Nolan didn't even tell the actors about parts of the ending until right before shooting.
I've always wondered, does writing the novelization ruin the experience of seeing the movie?
Is Cillian Murphy confirmed to be in this? I was under the impression he wasn't.
To be honest, it usually takes me a couple of viewings before I can appreciate the movie as a moviegoer. The first time through, I'm too busy comparing the movie to what I wrote and spotting all the tiny little discrepancies that nobody but me will ever notice!
That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie at last!
And that movies start here on a Thursday.
Anyways just back from it a few hours ago. Epic. There are some nice twists. Gonna see it again sometime this weekend.
Just got back too. What a ride!
Yes, he's in it. Though in a very small role. But at least he gets some lines. Didn't he appear without speaking in TDK? I don't remember exactly. It's been a while.
Anyway, I just got back from the movie. Thought it was great. I anticipate a lot of political commentary on this movie, because of the echoes of Occupy Wall Street.
No, he had a few lines in The Dark Knight.
Who voted terrible, and why? Is it just trolling?
for those of you who want to be spoiled on the plot, Wikipedia now has the full plot writeup about it. I spoiled myself, but movie sounds really good.
After watching the movie, I was browsing Wikipedia, and noticed that there also spoilers listed on at least one of the individual actor's Wikipedia pages. So anyone not wanting to be spoiled (though why are you reading this thread now if you don't want to be spoiled?) should avoid the actors' Wikipedia pages.
Just got back from it. No spoilers here, but I will say that a character ended up right where I thought he would. Great movie.
