The Dark Knight Rises Anticipation Station

Does it take place in winter? Looks like snow falling in some pics.

Yes it's snow on the steps of the Mellon Institute/Gotham City Hall

I think a "Long Halloween" type of deal would be interesting concerning the months.

-Winter for the City hall scene
-Winter for the football scene

-Around April for the final showdown with Bane.

Does anyone besides me have an urge to watch Love and Other Drugs about now?

Check online for the timecodes. If that is what you're referring to. If not, then nevermind.:)
Can't imagine any other reason to watch it.

They used my aunt's house for Gyllenhaal's parents. They spent two months shooting there, and most of the stuff never made the film.

Edit: Ooops two weeks, not months :o

I honestly don't know much more than that. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say that most of what's being filmed is in the final act of the film:
- Miranda Tate reveals herself as Talia.
- She kills Lucius Fox.
- John Blake gets killed by someone - I'm guessing Tom Conti.
- Bane/League of Shadows has an earthquake generator underground in the sewers, and they're planning on killing 60,000 Gotham citizens during the football game.

Catwoman with Batpod stunt hits the IMAX camera.

The vehicle is incredibly hard to maneuver. Only one person Jean-Pierre Goy has been able to drive it properly

http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/dark-knight2.htm

And the Bat-pod, because of the huge wheels, there's only one man, Jean-Pierre Goy, who was able to control that thing and not fall off. So whenever you see me on it, I'm getting dragged behind another vehicle."

Just goes to show even after all the prepping and rehearsal something can go wrong.

Yeah, whoever designed the Batpod really has no idea about industrial designing. If you gotta push your head up to drive a motorbike, your neck is gonna get tired pretty soon. I can understand the aesthetic setting, but the real-life logic that Nolan's Batverse is trying to cover, it just seems like a lazy and stupid design.

It will be more fun if the authorities aren't alerted. Give Anne a kiss for me. :p
