The Dark Knight Rises Anticipation Station

^ That's more like it. Yeah it has to be a plausible enough rumor to be picked up by "reputable" websites who will then run with it and make it viral. We'll claim to have inside "sources" as well.

They'll at least get coverage shots of Chicago to match the previous movies though, right?

Doesn't look like it.

This article says that in addition to Pittsburgh, there will be filming in Chicago, Romania, and England.

I haven't heard anything about filming in Chicago. I've heard about the production filming in New York, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, England and possibly Romania or somewhere in Asia but not Chicago.

Some of that could just be Second Unit though right?

They are doing 2nd unit photography and plate shots in New York right now and will return for principal photography around November. They plan to film in Pittsburgh for four-six weeks, and I've heard England will be some time as usual (they have the Bat-Cave sets on the outskirts of England; they filmed a good deal of The Dark Knight in England). I've also heard they plan on doing some soundstage work in Los Angeles as well. And I'm sure if they're going to a foreign country like Romania you can bet it won't be just 2nd unit photography.

Lower Uncton. And if that reference doesn't make sense, umm check out the Married with Children episode where the Bundys win a trip to England.

^ Yeah I've sources there too :) LOL. I have family in London. Wonder if they'll be able to hunt down the shoot JacksonArcher style ;)

Josh Pence has joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises as a young Ra's al Ghul. He joins Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Marion Cotillard. No word on who Gordon-Levitt is playing, but it now looks like Cotillard is playing Talia.

Click here for more. It looks like we're going to see a return of Ra's al Ghul and the League of Shadows in Nolan's final Batman installment.

^ Hmmmmm. Not a bad likeness for a young Liam Neeson actually. Though I can't say I've ever been particularly keen on the idea of the LOS returning.

Same here. I was never fond of the idea. There's some speculation that Marion Cotillard could be playing Ra's wife verses playing Talia. Poor girl- typecast as the dead wife. :p

Hm, I'm surprised Nolan is going with this direction. Dramatically, it works but Nolan's Batman universe is more grounded that previous iterations (microwave emitters and sonar cellphone networks aside) so it's surprising that he's going to present a living, younger version of Ra's Al Ghul. Naturally I'm going to throw out the obligatory "I trust Nolan" nugget, but I'm weary nonetheless.

ETA: Belay my last. I just read the article and noticed the bit about Pence's scenes supposedly happening in flashbacks. Now the question is how necessary are said scenes?
