The Dark Knight Rises Anticipation Station

They are filming in New York right now, and this weekend they are photographing some amazing action sequences.

When I first saw the Modine pics, I thought Harvey Dent was back!

I must confess, I thought the same. They've have the same sandy-brown hairstyle.
Yeah, so did I. I had to get to get on wikipedia to try to figure who it was since I knew Aaron Ekhart wasn't coming back.

Looks like we are indeed getting the first full trailer with Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows. (The Muppets is the other one)

Sweet, that's one of only the only two movies I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be seeing in theaters this holiday season.

Round 2 or 3 for Bane VS Batman

I have to assume these daylight shots of Batman are going to be adjusted to night in post production (probably with that wintery blue filter directors love so much).

Bruce went out of his way to avoid such a thing in the last movie--getting around town only with a sports car or motorcycle-- and I can't imagine that's going to change for this movie.

I have a feeling Bane's going to draw out Batman into the daylight. Similar to the city hall scene with cops and prisoners

after all, much of the mystique of The Batman is he's a creation of the night so what better way to show he's merely a man in a costume than to bring him out in the day.

though he might come out earlier - we don't know when he made the appearance following the robbery in TDK (the meeting with Gordon in the Vault).

Yep I think Bane's strategy is to force Bruce to operate in daylight as well. Fight where he isn't comfortable and use Gotham against him.

Well I thought it was going to be great. I'm on the bandwagon for "Epic" now.

Nolan looking like the pimp he is.

Now here's something that's unethical and dangerous....

Christopher Nolan's Casio EV-4500 is an inexpensive portable LCD 4-Inch TV everybody can buy for less than $80. The IMAX camera has been modified with an UHF/VHF transmitter and an attached UHF/VHF antenna that allows Christopher to get real time signal preview from the final shot cinematographer Wally Pfister is working on.

Fourth photo shows angry Nolan trying to get decent TV signal from the IMAX camera.

So if you are in New York and can get close enough to a filming set don't forget to take a portable UHF/VHF TV with you, if you dial the right channel you could get some TDKR preview shots!!!

And a little rewording of a Dark Knight scene

dreamliner: Beautiful, isn't it?
Lucius Fox: Beautiful. Unethical. Dangerous. You've turned every portable UHF/VHF TV in New York City into a real time signal preview.
dreamliner: And a high-frequency generator-receiver.
Lucius Fox: You took my UHF/VHF antenna concept and applied it to every UHF/VHF TV in the city. With half the city feeding you real time signals, you can image all of The Dark Knight Rises. This is wrong.
dreamliner: I've gotta watch this movie, Lucius.
Lucius Fox: At what cost?
dreamliner: The database is null-key encrypted. It can only be accessed by one person.
Lucius Fox: This is too much power for one person.
dreamliner: That's why I gave it to you. Only you can use it.
Lucius Fox: Spying on a $300 million movie isn't part of my job description.
