I was surprised even the trainers at my gym were talking about going to midnight shows and these guys typically put on a (somewhat self-aware and knowing) anti-geek macho image in there.

I have to say, I had no idea the general public was so excited to see this movie. Obviously the comic book fans were, but clearly all those amazing reviews got everybody else's attention too.

After TDK these two guys were betting on on much moolah the movie would be taking in this weekend. Either they were real geeks or the gen. public is really psyched for this film.

It has already done $18m from just the early Friday morning showings according to some reports. The movie is just going to soar from there.

It's going to have an AWESOME opening probably well north of $100m.
