The D-Con Chamber podcast with Dominic & Connor

I've been wondering that as well. The thing that irritated me about Shuttlepod was the uploads to Apple podcasts were months behind the YouTube videos. I really hope they don't do that here...

Bummer. Still no luck on whatever I've got on my phone. Oh well.
It might just be a licensing thing if you're outside the States? I'm in Canada and Apple which carries the Shuttlepod Show here doesn't have D-Con Chamber, but then when I started typing D-Con into Audible it came up as the first result. Maybe that helps??

Thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Terry Farrell, very open and frank. Lots of fun to listen to. The show feels a bit tighter than the old one. Has a little more momentum to the conversation. Dom mentioned maybe having Danny John Jules on the show sometime. That would be awesome if it happens.

I watched the Terry Farrell interview and she tells her side of the story about the show she wanted to guest star in on a Seinfield episode she wanted to do a comedy and how Paramount didn't like the fact she wanted to more of take on a smaller role on ds9 and she felt her Jadzia Dax character was in a rut. And that they decided kill off her character and she got her role on Becker a few days later after she filmed her final ds9 show. I'm glad they dropped the trivia and just interviewed her . I like the new format for the podcast.

It finally showed up on Apple yesterday with both episodes.

I found both episodes on Apple! Listened to the two of them, then did something I usually never do: I watched the Terry Farrell episode on YouTube. I've never watched a single episode of The Shuttlepod Show, err I mean The D-Con Chamber; it just always had delightful background audio. Two guys yapping in Dominic Keating’s basement or Connor Trinneer’s garage was what I thought I was tuning in to. Turns out they have a whole studio!! I’m still going to be just a listener going forward, but it’s nice to know they’ve got a full video set up too. Good going, champs.

I might even subscribe onto their Patreon. I’ve been signing up to stupid shit on the internet ever since we all became friends with Tom on MySpace, so why not?

My only thing is, they also had a ton of great interviews on the previous show. I mean, I still don’t know if my favourite TSS is the Jonathan Frakes one or the Lolita Fatjo one, because I’m too busy being mindblown at the Okudas one. Not to mention the Anthony Montgomery one is the one that got me to take a lil gratitude pause every time I stop for lunch. Or Gates and Nana and Walter and Cirroc and even the B&Bs, they’re all great. But how does copyright law roll out in podcasting? I don’t want to lose hours and hours of fantastic interviews because some dickhead producer got in the way. I really, really hope that D-Con can do a (Taylor’s Version) of all those interviews, because its just great stuff to listen to. If Taylor Swift can reclaim a lot of her discography from Scooter Braun, hopefully Keating and Trinneer aren’t hostages to …I’m honestly blanking on that producer’s name right now… and we can keep all those conversations in the sonic library.

All around A for effort, but also A for results.

I 'm glad Connor and Dominic talked briefly about what had happened about why they quit the Shuttlepod show.

And I like how (as one might predict) after Connor said very little about it, Dominic said a bunch more. :D
He seems to be saying that it was at least some version of what had been widely assumed.

That was a nice relaxed Q&A session. They really do both seem more comfortable on this show. Sounds like they are going to try their best to get the rest of the cast members from Enterprise that they haven't interviewed on the show at some point.
Mary Chieffo, Chancellor L'Rell from Discovery is on next.

I'd wondered what happened to their podcast, just found out about all the drama today and I'm now subscribed to this new podcast. Sounds like I have some good episodes to catch up on.
