Was that show any good, or was it as bad/cheesy as it looked? Never saw it back in the day. I'm not even sure it was ever even broadcast in this country back then.

I think it was aired in UK Reverend, or perhaps just the pilot was as a TV movie. I seem to recall seeing some of it.

If you like the current show, then I'd say the two Mark Hamil Trickster episodes will be enjoyable, even if nothing else is. As for the show in general...its not great, but I've seen worse. At the bare minimum, I'd watch the Trickster episodes, since Hamil is probably the only good villain on the show and he's fun to see.

I think I caught a bit of the pilot in movie form on Sci-fi or Bravo years later, but not at the time. Mind you back then I (and by "I" I mean my parents of course) didn't have Sky, so it may have been on over here, just not on terrestrial. Or it was and I missed it entirely. Sounds like the kind of thing ITV would air though.

I didn't see it either but have thought about getting the dvd's once or twice, just to compare to the new series.
