News The CW renews Arrow, Flash, Legends, Supergirl , Black Lightning, Supernatural

So they have done crossovers between shows filmed in different cities then.

Yup. It's not easy, but it's possible. Heck, Magnum P.I. was filmed in Hawai'i, but that didn't keep it from crossing over with Murder, She Wrote and Simon and Simon.

If Black Lightning has a shorter season again, it shouldn't be a problem to schedule the crossover at a time when they're not shooting the show.

If they do opt to tie BL in with the other shows, I think maybe a single episode like Worlds Finest would be a better way to do it then immediately jumping in with a big crossover.

Yes. One reason the Flash crossover in Supergirl season 1 worked was that they only had to get one person, Grant Gustin, to L.A.. If they wanted to do a BL episode as part of the big crossover event, they'd probably need to get three or four of the BL actors to go to Vancouver.

Another obstacle is that rule The CW made up this year that they wouldn't put five different superhero shows on air concurrently. They might make an exception for the crossover event, though.

Do you think it would ever be possible to do a "Supernatural" crossover with the Arrowverse? They could just say "Supernatural" is in yet another universe and the Flash crosses over or something like that.

The could have Constantine and Castiel trade fashion tips.

I agree. Constantantine would be a good character as well to use in a crossover episode. I do think you would also have tons of fun with just seeing Dean deal with people in comic book outifts and then seeing some of them with Superpowers like The Flash running real fast or Supergirl being able to fly.

Great news. I enjoy all of these shows and Melissa Benoist is our favorite actress on television today.

Has the CW ever made a final season for any show? Smallville had a proper ending, right?
Beauty and the Beast, the other CW series that Kristin Kreuk was in, had a proper finale. At least, CW had the good sense to end that series when it did, and to do it with a legitimate series finale.

Did you miss the Scooby-Doo / Supernatural episode? It aired last week, I think. If something as bizarre as a Scooby-doo / Supernatural crossover was accomplished, I suppose anything is possible with that show.

I hadn't seen it when I made my post. I didn't know the show had returned from it's break. Now I have seen it. It was pretty funny and good and I agree that it's proof that a crossover could be done. Heck though they proved that years ago when the brothers found themselves in a world were they were on a show called "Supernatural" and everyone played a version of themselves.
