The CW is a gasping dying network-SO THERE!

If SMALLVILLE weren't on the network it'd be completely useless to me. Ugh. That channel just plain sucks.

Pretty much! No Smallville, no network, IMHO.

I felt much the same way about UPN.

Without VOYAGER or ENTERPRISE, I had almost no conceivable reason to watch. SEVEN DAYS was okay for a while but it was such an incredibly distant third on my list it might as well not have registered.

Seven Days was CRAP!

CW just tries to hard to be a niche network. It has the fantasy/Sci-Fi night, the black show night, the young woman nights and the wrestling night. Unfortunately there aren't many young black females who watch sci-fi and wrestling. There also aren't too many sci-fi fans who watch America's next top model and The Game.

I just hope SMALLVILLE moves to Sci-Fi or USA if the CW folds. I don't want the show to die just because its host network goes the way of the dodo.

Tv Guide had a new article about the CW and Dawn Orstoff wants to get rid of alot of the programs on CW for more sleezy smut like Gossip Girl to change it into another Lifetime tv net work to get more women to watch in a desperate effort to save the network.:cardie::wtf: I don't know what will happen to Smallville or Supernatural but this is the same kind of crap we heard when upn was on the air.It makes you nauseaus.gack.They've haven't from their mistakes that's for sure.

Ugh god... It's like the beginnings of the Enterprise fiasco all over again.

GOSSIP GIRL is about as entertaining as having a rottweiler bite your nutsack. A complete piece of shit. I'd masturbate to it if I didn't have both hands on the shotgun aimed in my mouth.

Aw, but Reaper is good! :(

But if they cancel Reaper, frak em. DIE CW DIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I guess building a network around the 12-15 year old girl demographic wasn't such a good idea, huh? :rommie:

Oh my. Such derision. I'm going to have to repost my video defending the honor and savvy of the CW. Temis knows which video I mean. :bolian: The CW aired a perfectly darling 10 week reality show called Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Very fine, talented young women competed to be part of the new girl group Robin Antin (creator of the Pussycat Dolls) was forming, to be called "Girlicious." The CW was very behind this show, and I must say I was impressed with their first video. It's right here, and when you speak of the CW, show a little kindness, dammit. :klingon: Those girls worked hard on this. Between this and Gossip Girl, the CW has its pulse on what young females want.

Girlicious Presents 'Stupid Shit'

REAPER is good?!

Compared to what? Finding out you have terminal scrotum rot?

Reaper isn't appointment television, no, but it's got some funny moments. Supernatural is the only show on the network worth anything.

Kevin Smith wrote the first episode. That's about all it's ever had going for it, and even THAT premiere wasn't up to Kevin's usual standards. "Meh" for him.

Well, it's not going to get renewed because ABC studios won't lower the license fees to air it and it commits the same sin Supernatural does--it doesn't score big in the 18-34 demo. Warner can lower the license fees for their shows since it owns half the network (Smallville, Supernatural, and OTH are Warner Shows which will more than recoup Warner's costs in DVD, overseas markets, and syndication) and CBS makes Everybody Hates Chris, which was also renewed. Surprising that Reaper's out in the cold? Not very. The network's bleeding red ink.

That's why there's so much cheap to produce and air reality on CW. Cooleddie, did you not check out the lovely Girlicious video, Stupid Shit? It's so entertaining. You shouldn't miss it. It's such a tribute to the CW's target demo. :guffaw:

The new issue of TV GUIDE has a one-page article on REAPER and another sci-fi/horror cult show. Interesting stuff if not much detail.
