The City On The Edge Of Forever

No offense, but why waste our time with this? Golly, you've put a whole 30 minutes into it and shown us a title card. Big whoop.

well I'm willing to wait and see... :D

A wild guess here...

A CGI "ruins" scene, expanding the TOS "City" into a real "lost city" situation?

That would be cool to see.

On the other hand... a "cadet" with no "street rep" in here comes in and tosses out a grenade without giving us any idea who he (or she) is, and what he (or she) is doing? Yeah, damned hard to get excited.

So... tell us more, or don't tell us anything (yet). :)

Let's dial back the condescension, folks. Some folks are still enthusiastic about this stuff and haven't become so cynical - you might try some encouragement or curiosity, not just childishness.

Remember: keep the criticism constructive :techman:.

I'd always imagined the "City On The Edge Of Forever" as a cliff-dwelling, mesas, canyons. Somewhat modern, but somewhat underground, due to emerging from past (nuclear) disasters.

Of course, the title originally referred to a City that the crew never visits. In the original script the crew are heading towards this city when they encounter the Guardians and the time vortex. When Kirk first sees, seemingly so unreal where it is, he comments "Like a city on the edge of forever."
