We just got back tonight from a couple of days with my Mom, one of my sisters, and niece (from other sister) and niece's boyfriend. It was a nice, slightly more subdued Christmas than our usual holiday extravaganza (we were missing two cousins, my other sister and two of her kids). Hubby did the baking, sister did the roast (she did a crap job at it, but hey, I didn't have to cook for the first time, so who cares?). Mom and I did the sides--easy peasy. One sister gave me a little cat tree for Junior! I can't wait to put it together. Mom gave me pajamas and a robe. Other sister gave me one of the pillow-like stands for your tablet--that will be very useful for reading or playing games on the tablet in bed or on the couch.
