I enjoyed it. I was glad that it didn't tread too much of the same ground as Walk Hard. I especially like when he writes his own brand new COMPLETELY ORIGINAL SONG THAT'S NOT A PARODY!

I finally watched it. I was in tears the whole time, it was beautifully over the top!

I ended up really not liking what I watched of it. Its very much a "cringe humor" movie, which is odd because Weird Al's music and his first movie are nothing like that. I dropped the film as soon as the weird Madonna character was introduced, it was just the last straw at that point. Radcilffe did as good a job as he could, but the material they gave him was horrible, no one could have saved it.

Still really like Weird Al and Daniel radcliffe in general, but in my opinion this was a total miss. If you want a great Weird Al movie just go watch UHF, and if you want a great comedy movie about the fake career of a musician watch Walk Hard, which is actually funny and entertaining.
