[The Borg]Evil??? and Logic gone ill

We haven't seen a lot of what borg do in their downtime apart from Unimatrix 0.
maybe when threat assessment is null they that having dance competitions or its poetry slam night on cube f08ms15443. Maybe they have borgies. Maybe its good to be a borg.
As a recent episode of Picard shows us, sock hops are apparently a thing on Borg ships.

The Borg, when they assimilate, alter the victim's body completely, alters their mind, completely pushes away any emotions that person has, takes away their identity and any sense of self they ever had, and puts them into use as if they are cogs in a machine.

The ones the Borg kill are actually the lucky ones.

They are worse than evil in every sense.

(Upon reading an earlier post, I do find the idea of all those ships at Wolf 359 just being empty actually even creepier and much more horrific than what we saw, though we do learn later they did assimilate at least some of the people. Good call on that.)

Side note: the Cybermen of DOCTOR WHO... I feel the same about them. They are very similar, and I find them far creepier and deadlier than the Daleks.

Sorry, but a civilization that's all about mind-raping and mutilating others against their will at a massive scale is not redeemable in my opinion.
They are evil.

If the Borg were more like keeping to themselves and offering others to join their collective if they wish, then it would be alright.

The forced element, that they will violate you and will not even consider your right to choose for yourself is what makes it evil.

You can fanboy/girl/person them all you want (they are pretty cool after all), but that doesn't change what they are or what they do.
