The Blacklist, season 3 *Spoilers!*

Oh, hell no.

This is a network show; of course they'll drag it out as long as they can, well past the point of reason.

^I don't know; the pseudo-clip show almost did me in. But this last episode was pretty good. I'm still holding out hope.

I really enjoyed this episode, from start to finish. The heart pounding, being pinned down. To the constant being sold out and the final reveal at the end.

At least they haven't jumped the shark yet!

(at least I don't think they have)

They won't jump the shark. Red will know the shark personally and have made an under-the-table deal with said shark ahead of time so they don't have to jump it.

Then he'll sit down by the shark pool with his feet dangling in the water and tell a time-appropriate anecdote about an encounter he had with a guy named Fonzie.

The wife and I watch this show strictly for Spader. We find the bumblings of the FBI bunch to be risible at best, the plotting weak, the characterizations flat and predictable. But Spader, whom we've been watching since "Sex, Lies, and Videotape," makes it worthwhile.

^Hell, I've been a fan of his since "The Family Tree." (fuck, I'm old)

Speaking of which, I wonder if the show is going to pick-up some fans next week.

From everything I've read, he steals the film.

Hm. Not a bad episode.

Bit of a cliche, with the "Notebook" ending, but I like Red and his interrogation technique. Although..... EW.

I'm more concerned about the "person inside." When he told Ziva that he was aware of a person inside but didn't know who it was. So is this person a part of the FBI or Red's group?

I guess we cross off Keen and Cooper, with Coopers reaction to Connolly wanting to release the classified document. I'm on the fence about Ziva, so Ressler and Aram are the only two real candidates from the FBI, unless you count the woman who handed the document to Aram in this past episode. Out of no where, random person hands Aram something, and gets a name. I'm very suspicious.

We have Red's team, which keeps growing and growing. So it's easy for someone from the Kabal to insert a mole. I doubt that it's Dembe but of course that would sting the most. It's also hard to believe it could be Mr. Kaplan, again would be brutal if it was her.

Whats your thinking about this inside operative?

Watching the ep now through On Demand. I can't wait to see what BS he feeds Lizzie about who's in the picture.

Agreed, but Lizzie looked damn good soaking wet like that.

I'm glad to see that the target date of 2017 was brought up again. I've been wondering about that ever since Alan Alda's character brought it up, moments before his head exploded. I keep wondering what makes that year significant - and then it hit me, a new president will be sworn into office in January. Could it be that the Cabal's ultimate goal here is to get a man they can completely control into the Oval Office? They seem very Illuminati-like, IMO.

I think I may have to get the DVD's over the summer and bing-watch this show from the beginning again.

After watching the last two eps, I am now convinced that Red really is her father; the look on his face when talking about Liz's mother makes me think that he either had an affair with her, or was in fact married to her and had Lizzie's memories altered to think that her father died in the fire, than asked Sadler's character to raise her - all in an attempt to keep her safe.

Now, whether or not Liz actually remembers what went down that night, or if she's just remembering what she had for breakfast remains to be seen.

Well since Lizzie's biological father is no longer in play, what are the odds that her mother is still alive since they made her a Russian female version of Reddington?
