I went with Batman...most TV (cartoons included), been around longer...and MOVIES have done okay too....and tons of comic books I dare say!!!

I went with Star Wars. It has hugely popular movies, its now getting into tv shows and it is pretty big in the realms of books, comics and toys & games...you know you're popular if they make a Lego game out of your stuff!
