The Big Goodbye

Brilliant! I love the Dixon Hill Episodes. :)

Data was brilliant as the sidekick.

....and Dr Crusher in that forties outfit?

It was pretty darn good. One of the only episodes in the first season I can really say that about. Probably the best one in the season, actually.

I didn't see what all the fuss was about when it first came out, I ranked it 8th or 9th for the season at the time, but I've come to appreciate it more over the years.

RAMA

It's a double wammy really. If you appreciate forties films (this is based on The Maltese Falcon) and get star Trek too what more can you ask?:techman:

I always get creeped out by the salesman since he was creepy as all hell in Ghost. Oy!

Sorry Joe, but I think you are thinking about Arsenal of Freedom. That's the one Vincent Schiavelli was in. This was the first time Picard stepped into the shoes of Dixon Hill on the Holodeck.

Wonderful episode, one of the two or three best in the first couple of years of TNG. Torme could have done great things as producer of that series.

I barely remember it. I've probably only seen it once, maybe twice. I recall it being a fun episode but that's it.

Holy :censored:, you're right. Complete brain fart. Where's the embarrassed smiley at?? UGH

I think I was reading the other thread in another tab and got confused... Yeah. Yeah, let's go with that.... :techman:

I, too, love this episode!

I like when Beverly is sitting in the waiting area of the police station, and she mimics what the other woman is doing: powdering her nose, chewing gum...and then she swallows it! too funny:guffaw:
