Her voice seemed fine on True Blood but here for some reason it's much higher. Whatever the reason for that, it's indeed damn annoying.

She seems a different type than Sheldon. Her attempts to "fit in" seem more genuine than Sheldon and creates a different type of humor/discomfort.

actually, I think they need to dial-back Sheldon's annoying-factor just a little. The same thing happened on The Odd Couple - there came a point where Felix crossed a line from being funny because he was annoying Oscar, to be being annoying to the viewers too. Sheldon (the modern Felix!) is precipitously close to that line lately.

I wouldn't say precipitously close, but we do seem to be going down that road. He's going to ahve to be taken down a peg or two, but in a way that doesn't damage him.

This week's ep was pretty good. Ahh Wolowitz, you doofus.

Great News...

Variety reports that CBS & Warner Bros are close to a $260+ million deal that would keep The Big Bang Theory on CBS for another three seasons through to May 2014.

The three year deal would be for 66 episodes, at an average cost to CBS of nearly $4 million per episode. The Variety story pegs the licensing fees between $4 million to $4.5 million per episode.

I wonder how much the cast will earn per episode.

This is good news, for all of us. It's a great show/series.
