I so wanted to call this thread "Sing the feem tune. Write the feem tune" but think Little Britain's had its time now.

Anyway I digress. Besides the various Star Trek theme tunes (obviously), what other classic TV and movie themes do you like?

I always liked the theme from V: The Final Battle. Just the right amount of creepy.

Blocked in the USA? Bizarre, I'm sure there's reasons (and I'm sure it has something to do with $$$) but that just seems odd.

Listening to the X-Files theme reminded me of another one.

This is from Dan Aykroyd's X-Files wannabe, Psi-Factor:

The narration for Knight Rider sounded so much cooler than what was ultimately delivered (fun as the show was). These kind of soundtracks were cool because they made great MOD music tracks on the old Amiga computer.

If we're doing movie themes, "Benson, Arizona" from "Dark Star" is worth a mention. A country-western love song about relativity.

Sound music does give away it's era - also one of the composers was Sylvester Levay who composed the music for Airwolf.
