The best episode of TNG - Part Seven

You know what would be interesting? A poll, as Harvey suggested.

Just like this game, there will be a poll in each of the seven rounds, threads, whatever you wish to call them, representing each of TNG's seven seasons and vote for and talk about their favorite episodes. Then that way there's no fuss or anger against a person because of termination of their favorite episodes or whateverhaveyou.

I reckon this would be a better way to find the best episode in each season.

So according to this go-round of the game we have:

Season One - The Arsenal of Freedom
Season Two - The Measure of a Man
Season Three - The Best of Both Worlds (I)
Season Four - The Wounded
Season Five - Ensign Ro
Season Six - Ship in a Bottle
Season Seven - Lower Decks

That's a very interesting list of favorite episode from each season. I know if we did this game again the list would probably be dramatically different but I actually do think this list is a good representation of what TNG had to offer. I know we all wish some episodes were there that are not, but this isn't that bad of a list.

I wonder if the game would work if it gave people the chance to either add or subtract an episode from the list each turn. Probably would go on for quite a bit longer if we took that route, though.

An interesting list. I'm not thrilled by the choice of "The Arsenal of Freedom," but the first season is pretty weak. "The Measure of Man" and "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I" would probably be the top choice for those seasons if this was just a poll. The other choices are more esoteric, but good episodes nonetheless.

I really liked "The Arsenal of Freedom."

Like many Season 1 episodes, it lacked a lot in execution, but still stands up really well on repeat viewings.
