Have any of the books given an specific examples or referenced pre-Jango clones created by the Kaminonans?
I would assume he probably paid them to only focus on the Grand Army and to stay quiet.

Not that I'm aware of. But the fact that Dex knows of them as "damn good cloners" by reputation alone is enough to indicate 1) they've been active for some time and 2) they're not the only cloners around.
The larger question there is between Sifo-Dias, Dooku and Palpatine how ; how did they secure the funds from the Republic necessary to get this all rolling *without* it leaving a paper trail straight back to the Sith? I mean I can't see even a Jedi Council member having anything like that much in terms of discretionary funds, and there's no way the Kaminoans would dedicate all that time and resources on credit alone.

Looks like the Empire's going to attack Naboo.

If you're talking about 23-25, that's Raxus Secondus (just called Raxus in Clone Wars), the former Separatist capital world. Specifically the city of Raxulon.

The Bad Batch were barely in this episode. Still it had a lot of good action. The score was great and we now know that Omega is
a first generation clone of Jango. That’s why she’s so valuable. New genetic material.

This all begs the question what the Kaminoan‘s endgame is?
Producing a new line of clones, I guess?
    But why?
The Empire doesn’t seem to be interested in new clones and they themselves are not in the business of starting wars.
So, who might be interested in raising their own clown army?

Or, if it‘s not about an army, what else would be the purpose of her specific dna? Maybe there is still something else to be revealed.
Omega having force potential is still not off the table, is it?
A new clone Jedi order may be too wild a guess?

OK, it's official; Omega is Boba's twin sister. Not a surprise by any means, but nice to get a solid conformation this early in the run and not have it drag out forever. (The Alpha reference was a nice touch too.)
Also seemingly confirmed is that the Kaminoans are all clones too. Also not a shock as I'd always assumed as much, but again, nice bit of world building detail. Not sure why but it feels weird that they killed off Taun We like that. Even weirder that they got Rena Owen back for just the one line of dialogue! On the surface it seems like Nala Se is being (for a Kaminoan) uncharacteristically sentimental about Omega, but then in the same breath she's coldly having her superior (?) assassinated, which makes me feel there's something else going on.

Not sur what the endgame is for Lama Su. A clone army loyal to them instead of the Empire to ensure their independence seems like the obvious play, but that's a LOT of expense to go to and they're just one planet. The Empire can easily wipe them off the galactic map or at least blockade the planet indefinitely if they become openly defiant, plus brute strength doesn't seem like a Kaminoan strategy. More likely it's some means of controlling the clones that are already out there, maybe a way to override/reprogram *all* the bio-chips on the fly? Maybe a bio-weapon to kill of neutralise the clones if they're used against Kamino?

I doubt force sensitivity can be cloned, at least not easily. Midichlorians are likely very uncooperative in that regard.

I wonder if Dooku had something else in mind for clones after the war. He would have assumed he'd survive the Clone Wars...

My guess is the ultimate endgame is the Palpatine clones......with maybe Snoke en route.

If the donor is male, then the clone can't be unaltered because the x chromosomes would have to be doubled while the y chromosome would have to be removed. What practically would make her an altered clone.

Why would the Kaminoans care about that? So far as we're aware they don't even know Sidious exists. Tyranus was their point of contact, and besides, why hide this from the Empire and how would a (mostly) unaltered Fett clone help with that?
Not exactly. It's entirely possible for a female to have both an X and a Y chromosome. Genetics are...complicated. And hell, for all we know the lion's share of all of Jango's desirable dominant traits were from his mother's side and thus mostly on the X chromosome. If so and Omega is indeed an XX female clone then she could be an attempt at a "pure" (dicey word, I know!) distillation of what made Jango such a good template.

Well too late, they confirmed in today's episode that Omega is a Jango clone.

This happened in Legends, and obviously failed.
    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Kamino_uprising

Palpatine's clones in the Ep9 back story weren't force sensitive.
But that cloned body on Exogol was, but that body was also possed by his force spirit so that might be why.

In legends at least, cloned Jedi went insane. Starkiller seemed fine though, but there's a debate if the one we play in the game is actually a clone or the original Vader was trying to convince was a clone.

Yup, which is mostly why I don't think this is exactly where they're going with it.
And it wasn't working very well, hence my qualifier "not easily".
That aside there's really been no solid evidence that Omega is especially force sensitive, and now we know for sure she's a Fett, there's even less reason to think so.

They don't. They didn't CARE about a Clone Army either.......this is their business. Tyranus has been replaced. They do seem to enjoy profits.

I keep forgetting that this show is still on. I haven't bothered to watch since episode 6, and I haven't missed Omega co-starring The Bad Batch at all. I don't know what the plans are for the show, but hopefully its a one season wonder (and bonus points if Omega gets killed in the end, but knowing Filoni he'll have a shitty adult version show up to ruin The Mandalorian or the live action Boba Fett show).

I did read that Cad Bane shows up. He's probably the most overrated character to come out of TCW, so I'm not surprised that he appeared. This whole show is like if they made a season of TCW but only did it with the worst episodes (well most of the worst, I don't think they'd done a gungan or droid focused episode yet, which were the worst TCW episodes).

My point being, if they're sneaking around behind the Empire's back then the "contingency" is obviously going to be something *for them*, not for anyone else. If it was a special commission for Sidious (which is what such a thing would be) then you can bet he'd made sure they had every resource they needed, and wouldn't saddle them with some bureaucrat of an Admiral. He hasn't and they are, ergo: probably not Snoke. It just doesn't fit.

Honestly at this point, who cares about Snoke? He's not interesting or important, or even really a character. He was/is/will be a meat puppet, and then a dead meat puppet. There's no mystery to unpack there, no depths to plumb, so I don't see why they'd bother setting up a multi-arc mystery explaining how he came to be. Sure this may be the first step along the road to the Empire's own strand-cast program that connects this to both the ST and 'The Mandalorian', but that's a footnote at best, not that point of the whole story. I mean Snoke has already been at the centre of one anti-climax, why go for an encore?

Loved this episode, especially the fight between Fennec and Cad. I liked how Cad looked down at Fennec as some whippersnapper not worth his time, but then she ultimately defeated him by grounding him on the aerial platform while Omega got away. I didn't expect Omega to be reunited with the Bad Batch so soon. I fully expected her separation to last a few episodes, but I guess it's better this way and not have it dragged out too much. Either way, I hope we get to see more of that budding rivalry between Fennec and Cad. Perhaps he'll show up in The Book of Boba?

As for the Kaminoans' end goals? Well, actually, I don't care. The only thing I found interesting is how Nala Se hired Fennec to keep Omega away from Lama Su. I wonder if that was Fennec's original goal when we first saw her or did her orders change when Nala Se found out Lama Su intended to kill Omega after harvesting her genetic material?
