Got to witness a fascinating bit of donkey drama out at the park today. We came across a group, and they were watching us a while, but we noticed they kept looking off to the side, so we looked over that way and saw one donkey all by itself had wandered over. After a minute or two one of the donkeys from the group chased the loner away from the others and then went back to them. We then heard a bray and another individual donkey walked over to the first loner, and they kind greeted other and stood next to each other watching us some more. Eventually the second one started to walk away, while the first one stayed and kept watching us. A couple of the donkeys split off from the group and one stopped and watched us while the other went over the first loner, and they kind of kicked at each other and the one from the group went back over to it's buddy.
When we left they all followed us a little bit before they eventually stopped and we lost sight of them.
